The goal here is to overwhelm with hull and use the VSD's as a basis for a more combined arms fleet later.

Nice.

You might as well ad Minister Tua to the second VSD in preparation for buying ECM for the commanders ship in round 2.

Could also work well with Konstantine (swap Dominator for 2xQ7 tractors)

Tua is for the Dominator, though. I've been wanting to run that with Redundant Shields just for kicks.

I got some good advice on this build to drop a VSD-I and add more squads. Still trying to make that work. I'll post when I have that.

You can indeed. You just can't move titles. Always try to spend all 400 points for the start of cc otherwise you are just giving away free points
