3 ship all with mindlink

1st ship moves and takes a focus action do the other 2 ship then immediately get focus? Freeing up the ship actions for boost,evade whatever and same for stress

Yes.

Whenever any ship with Mindlink gains a focus token by any means (e.g., takes a focus action, uses Rage, Palob Godalhi's pilot ability, Kaato Leachos' pilot ability, etc), all ships with mindlink that don't have a focus token, gain one. The most important and complex interaction is with Manaroo's pilot ability - when she passes tokens to someone, she's temporarily without a focus token, so when they receive the tokens from her, gaining them, Mindlink gives her a focus token.

It's also important to note that gaining focus through Mindlink is NOT the same as taking a focus action - so Ship A can move, focus, give out free focuses through Mindlink, then ship B can move, and take a focus action itself, ending up with two focus tokens. With certain builds it's possible to get up to 5 or 6 focus tokens on a single ship in a single round this way, though there are obviously diminishing returns...

Stress works the same.
