Edited by Daner0023Reminds me of the early days of Heroclix, where not a lot of figures had a "move and attack" ability, so many strategies were based around "turtling". Then rules for "shock the turtle" came out specifically designed for punishing turtle teams because after a set number of rounds (usually three), the parameter of the board would close and any figure on the wrong side would take a clix of damage. This invisible barrier would move in one square each round till it reached the center. This forced players to move in rather than hang back. Shock the turtle could be used at any event at the judges discretion, so if turtles were becoming popular, they could be shut down quickly.
In a battle game, soldiers running away from the battle seems counterintuitive
It's always a more enjoyable experience when players get to roll dice and interact with one another.
Hiding or running away from interaction and being rewarded for cowardice is a death knell for a game.
One player may be "happy" because they won, but the other player is likely frustrated.
FFG taking away the reward for a negative play experience is applaudable.
Now, if we could shave two points off of Vader, Chewie, Han & Boba Fett I would be ecstatic.
Two points is a little conservative for some of those. Vader and Han should lose 4 points and Chewbacca should lose 3. Compare them to something else in their faction around that cost that came out recently, and you come up with a more equitable pricing.
