I'd guess that there'll be one in Wave 12 if not before, depending on whether they issue the Resistance Transport in Wave 11.

The good thing is that after a short spike of attention limited to those platforms, nobody will care about those complaints anymore. I'd say that, in the grand scheme of things, they are pretty much a non-factor when it comes to sales.

I think a Droid Starfighter would be real interesting as an illicit upgrade that gets added to an existing ship, but has its own model. Think of it as the droid control brain as an illicit upgrade that lets you control a droid fighter(s)

I'm playing Destiny right now and my wife was pretty pissed that the teaser for the next wave showed Jyn as a rare and Director Krennic as an legendary. She has also voiced a displeasure in the fact that Luke and Han are Legendary and Leia is only a Rare. It would same the females are getting a biased treatment in FFG games.

Why not? While it was built in the time before the Galatic War, canonically it has appeared far more recent "in canon" than other ships requested; The fact that she was a pilot is a bonus "Shattered Empire" whether you like it or not helped show and develop the backstory to Poe Dameron & Leia Organa; it introduced Shara Bey and her exploits in the ARC; it also showed Leia is an exceptional leader and fearless pilot.

The N-1 is not only a "prequel" ship but also a "OT" ship and a ship used to support the efforts of the Rebellion against the last remnants of the Galatic Empire.

Sucks that her crew card isn't that great, but there are plenty of important pilots from the movies and the EU that don't see use. Heck, nobody uses Luke Skywalker anymore either, and he's the protagonist of the OT, lol. Turns out some ships, pilots and cards have been rendered irrelevant by power creep and the game's evolution.

Look guys, it's a game. It's not a way to recreate the movies. Biggs has now died approximately 4,353, 729 times, which I am fairy sure is 4, 353, 728 more times that he can possibly die in the Star Wars universe. Pretty sure he's been killed by ships that don't even exist in the timeline when he perishes at the battle of Yavin. So maybe we're not simulating Star Wars and it doesn't matter how frequently these characters "show up", and their card names are just a placeholder for a set of game statistics. I'm fairly certain nobody actually thinks Palpatine just spends all of his time in the back of a Lambda shuttle helping TIE Defender pilots win dogfights.

Finn has a crew card, not a pilot card. There is no "special status" associated with crew cards. The discussion is pointless here and derails the thread. Never the less I can't restrain myself and answer anyways:

FFG knows the source material is kind of a sausage party - thats why many of the generic crew cards feature females (Fleet Officer, Recon Specialist...). And of course the Phantom pilots!

Can't say anything about Destiny, not interested in that game and I think it is a stretch to equate rarity with the 'worth' of a character. To be honest I'd rather have my favourite character be readily availiable than some elusive item I probably won't ever own.

Or we could bring her in a Y-wing aces pack, and not have to bring that dumb ship into the game.

It's hard to avoid these days and Disney is riding the bandwagon without remorse. Splinter of the Mind's Eye isn't, but Shattered Empire is. That's plenty of reason for both the N-1 and a Leia pilot card.

First, they used Carrie FIsher's image a lot before she died and they will continue to do so afterward. There will be no difference other than the fact she won't be appearing in future films, at least for some time.

One of Fisher's favorite jokes was that she had to pay Lucas money every time she looked in the mirror.

Ultra rare doesn't necessarily mean it is better than a rare. They like some of their really good cards to just be rares to make the game more accessible. Ultra rares can sometimes be in there just for collectors. I wouldn't get too upset about rarity. Also look at how they market it. Rey is the one selling destiny right now, Jyn sill be selling the next set and Sabine and Hera will probably be selling the 3rd set before Rey comes back to sell the 4th set. So the marketing department knows what they are doing.

Now the developers on the other hand, well it is a sausage fest in there and the power of the cards effects for women can be a little behind the curve at times. That is what I am not happy about.
