This works really well and the defenders are brutal. Anyway I have some thoughts:

1 if I can't fly defender and flechette torpedoes (the wave will not be available until this Friday) I will play my previous version which means Flechette>APT; OE>sensor team; 6 defender>Bossk+IG+4 interceptors. I tried it and I am happy with this.

2 If I get the wave I would play the list above but I was thinking on changing 1 defender to a lambda but I am not sure if strategic would be useful. I would play first almost every time and I would like to bother my oponent objective with the lambda and maybe get some advantage if I choose to play second. What do you think? This would let me drop out the boosted coms of the flagship and give me some points to spend on Yularen / Tua+RBD / Maarek or other thing you could recommend me.

What about objectives? What weaknesses? Advice? Whatever? Thanks!

I like it, but two draw backs I'm seeing are that you don't have enough dedicated carrier activations to activate all squadrons (defender variant) without tokens, and you don't have defense token mitigation.

Granted, with ACM you're really only worried about the brace and flotilla scatter. Engine techs can mostly deal with the flotillas, but then your demolisher's move-shoot is wasted on a flotilla. With enough squadron activations, though, your defenders will do fine.

I would defiantly think about turning demo into a glad 2 with sensor team, as is you list is going to struggle to kill flotillas. Demo glad two sensor team threatens everything on the table ( four blues into fighters, accuracy against flots and the usual against ships) for your second demo think about OE and insid as a real large ship hunter as it ups the threat and allows you to keep engaged as you fly passed.

I'm not sure on ACM at the moment, they are most effective when used in 3+ attacks on large ships (it was always my go to card for a trip tap demo). The problem is that it's natural prey (large ships) are more and more likely to be rocking with a Damage control office which negates it totally, you are also less likely to get last/ first anymore as lots of people roll with five activations and it was last/firsting ISDs which made ACMs demo so much fun, also small ships (which we see a lot of now)are harder to double arc. ACM is not really as useful snapshotting one arc at small ships (which is what glads do a lot of now),for this you want to drive in hull damage/crits on your one and only shot.

I'm now looking at:

Expanded launchers for my ship killing glads as it's resistant to DCO or

APT if I'm going to save points or focus a glad for killing smaller ships and flotillas, as driving that extra face up damage card through is nasty against low hull small ship.

Think about a raider 2 with fletchettes and callus, that blue dice will allow you to engage aces at blue range roll an extra black dice and change it to a crit with scree for an instant shut down of a key squadron.

Do you need defenders (your not running a bomber list so you are paying good points for bomber when your not focusing on it) you could get more anti squadron mileage with some of the old favourites and aces ?

Objective wise

For my fast small lists I'm looking at:

VIP as a fun way to make it hard on the other guy. Glads are best when the other guy needs to come at you, so use your shuttle to move the VIP next to a gozanti leg it and watch your opponent sweat as they decide if they are giving you the points or telegraphing to your Glads where their ships are going....

Most wanted is always great for small ship lists

Blue mission wise, take your pick most of them fit this list like a glove.

You are right about squadron activation but I don't worry about that. As I know I save a token to each ship. I usually engage at round 2 or 3 with every squadron, then I can activate all the squadron with the tokens of the glads and the token+dial of the raider if necessary. I did it with the IG+Bossk version as I can't wait for rogue to kill threats. In fact when I run without activation I am at round 5 or 6 and if I didn't loose a squadron it means I don't really need those squadron cause the enemy was decimated. Of course I would want the bombing but 1/2 blue won't make a difference more times than they do.

About flotillas you are right too. The raider was thought to deal with that but the points flotillas give me really sucks and I found the ET really useful. To shoot a flotilla and be trolled by the scatter is the worst but I learn to don't waste those shots. I get some practice flanking larger ships and parking in front of the flotilla which escorts the larger ship. This give me shots over the ship and fun with the flotilla. But the most part of the time I ignore the flotillas unless it is the flagship or a BCC-flotilla. If that happens I ram without mercy.

Thanks again!

I don't like glad-2 but I understand your point. Anyway if I find, let's say, 3 flotillas I probably ignore as they usually don't give more than 30pts. Unless they are the foundation of the enemy fleet but if they are I will ram them. I think on giving the glad-2 a try but at this moment I prefer four black dice. Actually glad-1 has red dice in her front arc so maybe I used sensor team with the glad-1. I want to keep a strong bid so upgrade to a glad-2+sensor team would ruin that.

Insidious is one of my first option to invest if I get some points. OE too.

I am really worry about damage control team and how it could ruin the ACM. For me ACM are better than APT so far and damage control team will ruin both. I was wondering about and I realize that there are 4+1 ships with contain and some fleets change this token thanks to Needa. Except the arquitens all the other are expensive ships that hardly fit in 5 activations ships and more that 5 seems impossible to me. I hope I can manage myself against 4 activations. If I find a 5 activations fleet with large ships I will have some problems with that but the other 4 could be easy fishes, I am not sure but thanks for point that. I will be carefully with this. About ACM vs APT as I said for me is pretty clear. I fly around big ships and I love adding 2 free damage cards when there are no shields left. I think is the only way to put those 11 hull points down quickly. Anyway I only have 1 APT so... no discussion here :)

Expanded launchers are out of my budget. I want a strong bid and a differexe of 6 points is huge unless you are talking about the points I save with the lambda. I will think about it.

Raider 2 would be a great idea if would have ordnance slot :P This things happens don't worry.

About defenders I really think I need it. I know I fly a screen but I found I did an interesting evolution with this list. I started with 3 YV666 and 3 agresor. I loved the YV666 but their lack of speed bothered me. I found that with Bossk, IG and 4 interceptors I did better in anti-squadron damage and anti-ship damage but while I solved the speed problem I found the lack of hull disturbing ;) I love interceptors I always kill whatever they could face against but at rounds 5-6 I must fly away in order to save their points as against ships are a big 0 and they die when you look at them. With the defender I found a screen as fast as interceptors, as lethal as the interceptors and better at the last rounds as ships need some shots to take them down and they can bomb if it was necessary. About that I am pretty sure. As sure I set Bossk apart and I LOVE Bossk XD

Really really thanks for VIP. I like your idea. Most wanted is a must and about blue you are right. I doubt between Corona and sensor. Sensor net could give me a lot of points. I like corona as superior position without the drawback of give points to your enemy. Less accuracy (I don't have many in fact) more defense tokens.

Thank you!!

I don't play a huge amount of Imperials, but the one thing that a list like this strikes me as is "high risk, high reward." You've really got to have the skill built up flying it before it really starts to pay off. If you can get the games in, future revisions will take care of themselves.

Yep I fly it with minor changes several times. I lose 1 of 5 I think and I have been gathering more and more points each time.

It seems I won't have the new stuff so I will have to return to the original fleet which is pretty similar. ST and APT on the raider (and maybe impetuous) and 4 Tie interceptors, Bossk and IG. The thing is that other players will have the new wave so I am very worried about my interceptors and how they will perform against e-wings.
