Structure skins for detailing...

By Commander Klank, in Star Wars: Armada Painting and Modification

k modelers check this out from Mel’s Miniatures: Armada scale ship structure skins to detail your scratch built structures made from plastic sheet or card stock.

He made two types; one is a 10 x 50 CM Armada scale Starship Paneled Skin (decking) and the other is a Starship Lateral Skin (side structure strip five packs)

The decking come in one and five packs while the lateral skins are in five and twenty five strip packs.

Got an idea for a defense platform or star base? These will help.

This is neat. I'm actually working on building a station from old pill bottles and bits from a gutted printer. This would help greatly.

Quick Note: 10cm x 5cm

And they're about 1.3mm thick.

Goingt to save and order and see just how heat flexible "flexible" is.

WSF (White Strong and Flexible) is only slightly so, sadly. "Flexible" I feel is more about its versatility. It has some give, but I would be pleasantly surprised if it can bend more than about 20 degrees without snapping. Your best bey would be to cast it in something more flexible and then recast that.
