I agree with being patient. I don't have a problem with voicing concerns or doing conceptual analyses, but I don't like seeing proposed fixes before things are even widely available.

Sorry we're not all mindless wallets - plus, with the unique (i.e. best-in-class) community that X-Wing has, we would be wasting a great opportunity if we didn't discuss nerfs and custom cards in a meaningful, (mostly) civil, and intelligent setting. Even if that discussion is theoretical or a bit whiny.

There's a balance. It's one thing to request that FFG do something to make product X more competitive.
It's another to go crying about something being unbalanced and needing a fix when there are plenty of ways to counter them. Just because you haven't figured out how to, doesn't mean that the system is broken.
Defenders? Block them or ion them.
Palpatine? Boba Fett crew card fixes that. Or just focus fire on the shuttle.
Zuckess? Bring along some black market slicer tools.
Or, simply just build a list you like and outfly your opponent.
