Imperial Regionals List - Input plox

Hi there. Looking to build a meta list, much as it irks me to do so (I'm a two big ship kinda guy). That said, I thought I'd submit it for review.

I had some criteria I tried to hit. Primarily, I wanted ships that could micro-manage the fighter screen. To that end I took 2 Arqs (one command, 1 light) and a Gozanti.

Second, I wanted to spread my points as far as possible without using a lifeboat flotilla because they are cancerous AIDS so I used the Arqs.

Third, I wanted to be able to proc Mithel's ability on command...without Intel.

Lastly, I wanted a ship capable of chasing down corner dwelling flotillas and returning so I included a Raider.

In regards to the fighter screen, I understand it's not "optimal." It's design is based around using a single lambda to control all squadrons (assuming Relay applies to itself). Hence the reason for 3 dedicated squadron command boats.

THe Demolisher is there to do Demolisher things so....yea.

Humble question, why Jerry? I'd rather take Motti in this fleet. You have a lot of stuff that can pop easily.

Also, is your local meta flotilla intensive? You seem to have a lot of stuff dedicated to popping them.

Couple of suggestions

Jerry is good I think given the wierd chart on the arquitens

Demo seems sub par with Monteferrat - I'd take Intel officer for the triple tap potential.

Chiraneau seems an odd choice with so few squadrons anyway? If you were that worried you could replace Soontir with Dengar and get the counter 1 rather than a situational auto damage

H9's aren't worth it on the arqs in my opinion. 3-4 dice with a solid chance at a blank means you'll be losing a damage point to get an acc and those flotillas will probably just evade and absorb whatever's left. Dual turbos are cheaper and work well on those things. leaving you points for something else? Maybe blast doors?

Also I'd be looking at the objectives -

You don't have enough squads for superior positions - if your opponent had the full points in squads you could go down hard.

Same goes for advanced gunnery if you're up against a big ship like an MC80 or a ISD setup for squadron support that can capitalise on it. Stick with most wanted and maybe solar corona for the blue? Gives you the same setup advantage as superior but better against squads.

Yeah Jerry seems like an odd pick though you can make it work. Motti or Screed would be good picks here. You could swap out to DTL on the flagship Arq so you could add in Screed. Also I personally would rotate out a TIE ADV squad and replace it with Saber Squadron. Same price but hmm that sweet Snipe 4.

Yeah dropping Chirpy is prolly a good idea too

If you can find 16 points to add redundant shields on the two Arqs, you can mitigate the JJ tax and with a Navigate Command move II-I-II on the movement stick....

Dropping Chirpy gets you 10 of them...

Swapping H9's for DTT's gets you 4 more

I've been using a somewhat similar set up, but with Demo as a Glad II, 2 arq and 2 Gozantis. DTT on the Arquitens to smooth out their damage output and Captain Jonus with Dengar so anything can pop flotillas. I like that better than what you have here personally.

You are going to have a very low probability of getting off the APT on that raider without OE, what about using expanded launchers ? As it gives your raider front real bit.

Interesting. I hadn't considered that. To be honest I jumped the gun a little and am probably just going to try for the NOVA registration. No regionals within reasonable distance of me.
