Backdraft mini swarm help

By Nystan, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Im trying this build, but i need some feedback, thanks.

"Howlrunner"(20) -TIE Fighter
Swarm Tactics(2)

"Omega Leader"(26) - TIE/fo Figther

Juke(2) Comm Relay(3)

"Zeta Leader"(23) - TIE/fo Figther

Wired(1)
Weapon Guidance(2)

"Backdraft"(30) - TIE/SF Fighter
Special Ops Training(0) Wired(1) Collision Detector(0) Sensor Cluster(2)

The slower TIE/sf's maneouver dial may restrict your options while flying in formation, but that formation will become irrelevant pretty quickly as Howlrunner will get picked off almost immediately. I wouldn't put Swarm Tactics on HR, considering that your lowliest pilot has PS7. She's a fire magnet that won't stick around too long, so keeping her cheap or giving her upgrades that increase her survivability are better options in my opinion.

Why not VI or Predator on Backdraft instead of Wired?

Otherwise, I'd definitely give this list a try. I don't like mixing a TIE/sf into a TIE list personally, but it might work out for you.

Swarm Tactics isn't super helpful in this list. I would give Howlrunner Trick Shot or Adaptability so you can invest those points in Backdraft. Change Sensor Cluster to Primed Thrusters or Pattern Analyzer and upgrade wired to Predator.

Thanks for the feed back, I also think Backdraft needs Lightweight Frame
