I realize this isn't about rules or anything I'm just curious. It's been my experience with Fantasy Flight that if something cost $40-$50 it ends up being $30 and if it's normally $30 it ends up being $25. Does anyone know how long it takes for these prices to show up? Currently, I only see one offer for Dunwich Legacy at $27 plus $17 shipping. I know I bought my first core set at $30 excluding tax.
Time till price drop on Amazon?
It's either sold out, or not in stock atm it seems. The ones on there right now are not from Amazon, but independent sellers. I see fantasy flight is the first one on the list. You're waiting for a reprint it seems
Amazon price fluctuates based on demand and availability.
Amazon price fluctuates based on demand and availability.
I realize. I'm asking for more of a generalization, not a specific period. I like to save as much as possible so a $10 or even $5 dollar price drop is significant.
Have you tried miniature market or warstore may stock it . Usually at a decent discount
There appears to be some sort of funny business going on in the relationship between FFG/ANA and Amazon. Many of us have noticed that most new FFG/ANA releases going back to at least October have not shown up as being sold by Amazon directly (that is, either sold or fulfilled by Amazon.com and are eligible for Prime shipping...not by third party marketplace vendors who jack up the price and tack on expensive shipping). It appears that when the core box was briefly available from Amazon.com on Black Friday for 25% off that it was a random fluke and an exception to this unfortunate trend. It would seem that either FFG/ANA is holding back product from Amazon or Amazon is refusing to carry FFG/ANA's products and is most likely a result of ANA's new pricing policies implemented last year. An OLGS like CSI or MM is probably going to be your best bet for the foreseeable future (although I believe both are currently sold out of both the core and Dunwich).
