Messing around in the lab because it's either this or work out :/
No question interdictor stands to benefit a lot from a defensive retrofit, but I can't decide on which... I think they are both likely to be strong... And with the combination of scramblers and either retrofit you are not likely to explode anytime soon...
Reinforced Blast Doors-
pros: good against bombers... You can contain the crits and discard the damage cards at the start of the next ship phase... helps a lot as you only have one redirect, now taking damage onto the hull is no biggie... Also, the damage reduction a lot of the time works out to be close to ecm albeit delayed...
Cons: you have to survive until the next ship phase... I think the interdictor's chances of surviving if played right are good, so this maybe only a minor drawback
Electronic Counter Measures-
Pros: good against large dice pools that can contain accuracies... You also save the damage on the spot! No waiting until the next turn and hoping you survive... Possibly most interesting is refreshing ecm with the interdictor title, though you may want to refresh scramblers instead... Still having options depending on the situation is really good... Refresh scramblers against apt pools and ecm against the isd2 arc at medium...
Super interesting possibilities now with interdictor... I'm excited to hear your thoughts
