They can still do a Lothal campaign, with the Ghost crew as tokens in the box.

Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that missile barrage. Potentially 3 blasts going off when you're still on the entrance point, yikes.

Hera at 4 is pretty interesting. Murn makes her free and while 7 health means she has almost no chance of living past the first round, she has a deployment ability and if you use her first to get an attack off, she's pretty much guaranteed to be worth her points.

Looks like we won't be seeing the crew of the Ghost as heroes, only allies. Not really surprising but still a bit disappointing.

3PO and R2 are super cheap allies, so cheap that they tend not to be terribly interesting. Chopper looks like he might be a bit more fun to field.

Overall pretty happy, but the fact that the droids are uniques means they won't see much play in campaign so... yeah. Not really worth having for campaign players.

It's not power creep when you make things that are more powerful than something that wasn't being played. By definition, power creep is only when you make something more powerful than what is currently being used, and set a new standard power level by which all future things will be judged. The fact that it doesn't make sense to play IG-88 when you could play these new droids instead is irrelevant, because it's never made sense to play IG-88. They would have to make something more powerful than Stormtroopers, Probe Droids, HK's or something else commonly used for it to be real power creep.

I love how off the charts they went with some of these picks, if not all. Very excited to see some more Rebels content in the game as well with my favorite character, Chopper! The droid love is really interesting as well, Probe droids were already pretty powerful I wonder where this puts them, HK Assasin's as well. Maybe IG-88 might be playable now in skirmish.

The only problem I have is the single Jawa in that pack when they are never seen alone in the movies.. feels a little cheap to me :/ That figure pack will be the cheapest price point, so where I am $12.99, but still... I would have paid the Hired Guns price to get 2.

Also, weirdly, it looks like there is an agenda set in the Hera pack.. I can't read the reward.

the agenda card is "Into the Wastes", which appeared with the Tuskens. Strange indeed.

There are so many Rebel allies now, they're going to have to make some new rules to allow you to actually play them. Maybe replace a hero with some allies or something.

Am I reading BTs missile strike differently than everyone else? I read it as you get to pick which die you use red, blue or yellow. So 3 one die attacks against 3 different targets. Where are you getting the 6 die attacks? Or can you focus each of those with assassinate? He looks way too good for his health and points(1st time I've said that I think) what a beast!

Regular Jawa looks like pierce 1 surge, +2 dmg surge and native +1 accuracy, I'm guessing 3 health a strain causing ability and + 1 block

Elite has Leader and Smuggler which really opens up a lot of the Leader command cards for Mercs. I think they are more balanced and useful alone and more likely to be taken as a single figure ( who wants 3 short ranged easily killed figures, look at their abilities, they wouldn't work as a group) look out for super droid lists in Mercs with the elite jawa, HK, BT1, OoO, 3po and chopper or R2 to get your command cards

I don't understand who the evil R2D2 and C3PO are? I never read the comics, but I'll buy the expansion anyway because it's Imperial Assault and this game is the dog's danglies.

He becomes focused for each attack of the missile salvo ability. So it's either one 4 die attack with one of each color (my group likes to call that taste the rainbow) or three separate attacks with 2 dice each, one from the ability, one from focus.

The agenda set with hera is a mistake I think. That is the tuskan raider agenda set.
