In all seriousness, Greeblehauling is a long standing term from the IFF podcast. I'm a little surprised you don't know it as a long time member of the boards. :o

Yavaris double tap via relay.

Things I've been greeblhauling my opponents with lately is mauler and either zyrtik strom or black Squadron relaying off a gozanti in the corner with Chiraneau and vector, so much fun. Also, Valen next to interceptors and decimators is just fun

It's only campaign play so points have been funky, and these are probably some of the more obvious things- but I'm consistently being surprised by Jerjerrod pulling handbreak turns with victories and the interdictor. How different and much more dangerous the VSDs are under his command is proving to be a steep learning curve for me.

I'm also surprised by how much I enjoy the Pelta, it was a pretty solid "meh" for me that now could become a staple. Honestly it's even changed my views on squadrons. I don't know what it is about the Pelta that has pushed me in this direction where other great squadron options have failed. I've since played it in a Sato list because obvious reasons - but I fell in love with it in my campaign where it was an offhand addition into a Mon Mothma list to push the bomber wing along.

But my new favorite may be Norra. Maybe forget the Pelta, it was probably Norra that made me finally come around on squadrons. Maybe. <3 Norra.

Jendon with 2 heavy hitters, such as Vadar, Maarek Steele, Boba Fetta, and Bossok. The ability to select the type of damage multiplied, ship or squadron, combined with relay utility is pretty big.

YEEEEAAAAHHHHH!

Deci's make me cry when I am using Neb's. 3 of them can pretty much one shot a Neb or take it very close to death.

Loving Sato tho <3

She's a good girl... Loves her Defenders.

Loves JJ, and Minister Tua.

She's a good girl, crazy 'bout Jendon

Loves Jonus and Blast Doors too.

it's a long day livin' in Corellia

There's a Hyperlane runnin' through our Fleet Yard

And I'm a bad boy, 'cuz Target Beacons don't ever miss her.

I'm a bad boy, for breakin' her Arq'.

Finish this out, compile it together, and then I'll start a forum effort to make a parody video with forum members submitting themselves singing lines for a supercut of the whole thing. ;)

I am so on board for this

Don't think anyone that has listened to IFF, or watched your stream, had any doubt at all that you would be on board with this!

He was banned, but that doesn't stop him. He's is Ben afterall.

I see we're getting some folks that either missed the threads last week or missed exactly the connection between the Ben jokes. The banned guy was beaten by someone named Ben whom he introduced rather randomly in the thread. Another great forum poster turned the name "Ben" into something like the bogey man, which occasioned the flood of quasi chuck norris jokes last week.

On the topic of the thread, I really like the Defenders. I'm mostly a Rebel player, but I've fielded a few Imperial lists to get used to the new wave. I ran 2 Defenders, Boosk, and Zetrik, which was a fun little combo. I've not seen a whole lot of squadron experimenting just yet, mostly small tweak introductions to old builds.

TIE Defenders are OUTRAGEOUSLY fast.

And punchy.

And survivable.

Come to think of it, I can't think of a lot of reasons I would run an imperial fighter list that's not 6 Defenders, Rhymer, and the Volleyball Master himself...

You skipped Jendon to make Steele from outrageous to patently absurd.

Yes, hence the joke about Ben not being stopped by a simple ban. I believe the other guy wasn't banned, but rather he deleted his account after one last parting shot.

Hera Syndulla making 2 / 3 of my E-Wings Rogues, to go along with the rest of my Rogues. Everything is Rogues. I can activate squadrons with my ships, yes. But... why?

Hera Syndulla making 2 / 3 of my E-Wings Rogues, to go along with the rest of my Rogues. Everything is Rogues. I can activate squadrons with my ships, yes. But... why?

Because any serious Imperial player is going to know, especially facing Speed 4 E-wings, he has to alpha strike to have a prayer of winning the squadron game. If he's first player, you can't completely avoid it without some impressive footwork, but if you're first player, you can negate that requirement of his by striking first. If you choose to use Hera and Rogue fighters, I will gladly jump on you first with my Defenders, and have Jendon double-tap Steele for good measure.

Don't get me wrong, I expect to see Hera, two E-wings or X-wings, and most times Corran Horn floating around as the go-to Rebel fighter complement for maximum screen for minimum squadron command. For that, there is none better, including on the Imperials I imagine (well, maybe plus Ketsu if you're splurging). However, a dedicated Imperial space superiority wing will crush it like an insect because this entire concept is wasted if you use commands. I'm sure there are all sorts of subtle plays that can be made around how you approach this, whether the other player assumes they are autonomous, etc., but I would not jump to overvaluing this capability against stiff opposition. Rogue is great, but I still use precious few of them for all the reasons we discovered in Wave 2.

anyone been greeblehauled by a particularly nasty combo from the new wave yet? The biggest greeb' I've had to wrap my head around is strategic. It's just so good, and can so swing a game from you in an instant if you aren't careful.

Yeah Strategic was impressive in a match for our CC. They played Minefields and the Imperials where 1st player, ended up totally commanding the battlefield and turning the objective advantage on their opponent. Very powerful mechanic, I think it will be a key player in particular for Imperials.

I had some other failures that made this not much of a greeblehaul, but in my game vs JRockNZ i had 4 Lambda shuttles vs 4 heavy Decimators and got to pick Minefields. I got him to successfully run into 5 of his own mines and didn't touch one myself. The last one was too far away to grab and shift before the shuttles died.

I am loving the Centicore Arquitens title and relay/strategic shuttles.

Being able to spread fighter activations around so much is marvellous, seeing as I almost always run a dedicated VSD carrier/flagship in my lists because....

This baby wasn't cheap, so I feel I need to run her every game. Now her 4 squadron activations and flight controllers covers TIEs all over the battlefield.

And I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'
Yeah I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'

And the Empire is crusin' through the system

Rollin' red dice with Zertik Strom
Move west down Ventura Blvd.
And all the Sith Lords are standing in the shadows
All the good Jedi are home with broken hearts

And I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'
Yeah I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'

Greeble Haulin', now I'm Greeble Haulin'

Now I'm

Greeble Haulin', now I'm Greeble Haulin'

I wanna glide down in Phoenix Home Pelta
I wanna write Hera's name in the sky
I'm gonna Greeble Haul out into nothin'
Gonna leave the core systems for awhile

And I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'
Yeah I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'

Yeah I'm Greeble, Greeble Haulin'

Oh! Greeble Haulin'
Now I'm Greeble
Oh!

All the good girls are home with broken hearts

And all the Rogues are standing in the shadows

And the Leia's are home with broken hearts

hahahaha I love it.
