anyone been greeblehauled by a particularly nasty combo from the new wave yet? The biggest greeb' I've had to wrap my head around is strategic. It's just so good, and can so swing a game from you in an instant if you aren't careful.
Greeeeeeeb haaaaulin' now I'm Greeeeeb haaaaulin'
My Greebs are unhauled, and my jimmies remain unrustled.
I've frustrated opponents by putting 3-4 damage cards onto an ISD through their front shields at ludicrous distance with Pelta Command, Norra, 3 Y-Babes and Sato....
And at Regionals, I did hit an ISD's Shieldless Side-Arc with a 10 Damage Salvation Shot... Yes, it was promptly braced to 5, but still... Bracing to 5 is still painful...
Against me. No, no combos,
Only the fact that the first time Salvation fired in each of my games, it did 1 damage.

"Show me on the doll miniature where Ten Numb touched you."
TIE Defenders are OUTRAGEOUSLY fast.
And punchy.
And survivable.
Come to think of it, I can't think of a lot of reasons I would run an imperial fighter list that's not 6 Defenders, Rhymer, and the Volleyball Master himself...

Let me set you up with something that might cause you to spike that idea: Whisper in place of Maarek is also exceptionally powerful.

Yeah Strategic was impressive in a match for our CC. They played Minefields and the Imperials where 1st player, ended up totally commanding the battlefield and turning the objective advantage on their opponent. Very powerful mechanic, I think it will be a key player in particular for Imperials.
I saw a combo PT106 put together for the Vassal WC that soloed two ships on their own: Jendon, Boba, Bossk and Vader. It was quite a sight.
A gozanti activates Jendon and Vader through relay and he can decide who gets to double tap. Boba was just plain mean.
She's a good girl... Loves her Defenders.
Loves JJ, and Minister Tua.

Been toying with Intel Officer on Salvation with Sato (and your choice of upgrade). Do it. You know you want to...

Yup, that's the way to run it. Salvation + IO/XI7 and and MC30 + IO/XI7 is a devastating combo with Sato.
The only problem with it? What else to populate the list with...

I was strapped for points, so I was literally just running the Support with Salvation.
In the future, upgrades, for sure... But with a Liberty, Pelta, Salvation and a BCC Flotilla to support Norra, the Y-Babes and fighter cover... I was strapped ![]()

I was just about to mention Jendon as a contender to a top greeblehauler spot in this wave ![]()

Finish this out, compile it together, and then I'll start a forum effort to make a parody video with forum members submitting themselves singing lines for a supercut of the whole thing. ![]()
Jendon and Stele, being repeatedly activated by a Gozanti (that was running away with a VIP on board) just mopped up all kinds of enemy fighters. Then, on turn 5, it double tapped to put the finishing touches on the enemy M'Lady to seal the deal.
Do taxes and an aversion to hard liquor count?
I don't understand the title of this thread. What is a greeb haul?
