I put this together yesterday and i think it may have some merit

They're all ps 8 so i choose the order i activate them, and make them able to fight most aces. I know i'll be force to use adaptive ailerons whenever "pure sabacc" activates, but i really wanted him to be less predictable, and "duchess" isn't exactly a high-value target

It's a cool concept, but I think you're straining for an all-PS8 list where it doesn't fit. Countdown at PS8 doesn't do much at all, since he can die so fast. He'd be best served with Push The Limit, I think. Even Crack shot would be good on him.

There's kinda an optimal build for the Inquisitor:

Inquisitor (32) - This gives him Focus, Evade, target lock every single round, which is much more effective offensively than Trick shot, and far more defensive, too.

Rexler BRath is simply point-overloaded. You could drop the Homing Missiles, Swap TIE/D for X7, lose the tractor beam and still have a ship that's just as effective, but 8 points cheaper. Think about how long it takes to kill two TIEs? That's how long it takes to kill a TIE/D defender, and then half your list is gone.

All in all It's a viable start, and you're trying things that aren't super popular (trick shot on the Inquisitor), and I encourage you to try the list at least once as is, then give it cards that play to their ship's advantages (Push the limit, TIE/X7) in order to make it a bit more competitive.

So I love when a list has pilots all at the same PS and I sort of like your list so I changed a few things and now I want to see how it does...

So, first off. These guys who insist that Rexler is overcosted if he's in a TIE/D are, to be blunt, barking up the wrong Wroshyr tree. Rexler loves his Tie/D, specifically because it forces your opponent into difficult decisions. Fire with the tractor beam...well, I need to spend my tokens to dodge that, or I end up with a lowered agility for every other shot...but then that means that he might use his ability, and that the other two will hit me hard.

While I agree that Homing Missiles on him are too many points, TIE/D has been consistently amazing for me. Also, if you're running tractor beam, use the biggest asteroids you can find. Your other ships are maneuverable enough to not care, but if someone gets tractor beamed onto a rock, it will ruin their night, almost guaranteed.

Inquisitor also does kinda need PtL. And, while having all three at the same PS is nice, I would probably put Predator on Countdown instead.

First, Countdown does not have an elite slot. He was talking about Pure Sabacc and changed it. Second, TIE Striker absolutly don't want Push The Limit, this disable the TIE Striker Title... Then you have a slow turtle...

I would remove the missile like everyone said, add Push The Limit to The Inquisitor. Then change Pure Sabacc for Duchess, and then you have 2 points to put an Elite on Duchess. Or Keep Pure Sabacc and you still have two points free.

Tie Mk on the Defender for 1 point and stay at 99 would not be bad.

Plus, Veteran Instincts does actually help quite a bit. Firstly, Adaptive Ailerons at PS8 rather than 6 gives him decent reactive manoeuvring against PS 6s and 7s - nice for the IG-88s and Assaj Ventresses of the world, amongst others.

Secondly, getting to shoot before them - and possibly before the PS8s - makes a big difference to pure sabbac, because the difference between his first shot being before or after he gets shot at generally makes the difference between it being a 3-dice and 4-dice attack....

If running Expertise on Brath then I agree that Mk2 engines are a great buy. Stress switches off your expensive EPT so 6 extra greens to help him clear any is a bargain.

So i got around to flying it, i dropped the missiles to give rexlar TIE MK2 and inquisitor PTL, turn one, i crashed sabacc into an asteroid and got a direct hit

Other than that, the match went fairly well, i lost, but it was pleasing to see rexlar tractor beam then kill poe dameron, only to be shot out of the sky next turn by wedge antilles

Does that actually turn off the ability? The card reads: when attacking if you have 1 or fewer damage cards roll 1 additional attack dice.
