Tantive Title and Antilles Crew

By Vineheart01, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

So heres the situation:

CR90 Tantive reveals Nav Command, and Antilles lets it get the token without spending the dial. Per Tantive rules, before i gain that token i may give it to a friendly ship at range 1-5.

Now heres the question. If i do this, i never got the command token to begin with and i also didnt spend my dial. Can i still spend the dial to get the token for myself, or even pass it on to yet another ship since Antilles isnt once.

Welcome to the Power that is the Tantilles IV.

so thats legit? thats dirty. Think i like that better than a Comms net. Obviously more expensive but better range, works on 2 ships, and i dont have to feel like im wasting my squadron activations (which is the big reason i sparsly use Comms Net on my flotillas)

Vastly more expensive and Unique.

Raymus has a place in many positions in a fleet as well, so by taking it that way, you limit those other options.

It's legit, but costly. And you can't use Raymus for something else...and you'll quickly find that a CR wo a dial isn't very good. So it's a useful trick, but nothing more.

Also, same range as comms net. And comms can store tokens for later.

Truth.

I just never liked Comm Net because i always feel like if im not spamming Squadrons on the flotillas im wasting their existence. Then again ive yet to actually use Comm Net, i probably should.
