Can an Untouchable become corrupted?

aemon of Nurgle creates a plague that causes mutations in humans, this plague is not "psychic" but plain old viral plague. Then he injects the virus into rat. Now it exists in mundane physics. The rat bites the Untouchable, infecting him... Nothing "impossible" has happened and Untouchable will get mutated.

Daemon creates gamma radiation and radiates the super structure of space ship, causing it to turn radioactive. Now the originally "impossible" gamma-radiation hjas cause mundane material to become radioactive and emit more gamma rays. Untouchable enters the ship, becomes radiated...

But that's not Corruption (largely, the taint of Chaos and the Immaterium), but corruption (entirely mundane, as denoted by being spelt with a lower-case 'c'). Mutation isn't solely or specifically a warp-based thing - mutants are born all across the Imperium due to inbreeding, genetic defects, pollution and a variety of entirely mundane reasons. Similarly, radiation is not a thing of the Warp, and its effects are not those of Corruption.

Thanks N. I had missed that text. So the short answer to question "can untouchable be corrupted?" is YES. The longer answer is that although immune to many things that cause corruption he or she can still gain corruption from Vile Persuasion, Malignant Acts and Witnessing Texts or Art of Chaos.

I agree with what ZillaPrime said...The book says plainly that untouchables are invisible to daemons ( thats not just daemon lords people its ALL daemons big or small as well as daemon hosts )...That means that unless the untouchable makes alot of noise or moves things around a daemon will not know they are there as long as they dont get too close. As for the corruptive influences of daemons on a untouchable...NILL for their null...NOT gonna happen IMMUNE to daemons and all their abilities that are warp based. Yes if a sorcerer looks at a null he will see them or any cultist as well can see them...but not daemons of any kind. As for corruption of other influences like being around toxic chemicals or other normally manmade results from industry...OH YES they will be affected same as everyone else.

As for the deal with nulls it is clearly stated in the game fluff and files that the Ctan intentionally created nulls by inserting the pariah gene into pre imperial humans and their slave minions the Necrons will seek to capture any nulls they happen to find and take them back for conversion into a full Necron Pariah.
