Newb question about threat

By 1mikethebuilder1, in Imperial Assault Campaign

Hi folks, brand new to the game. Played twice and love it! Q: does the Imperial player begin the campaign mission (Aftermath, for example) with 2 threat or does this only increase by that value after round 1? Thanks

Mission setup: Set threat counter to 0.

Special Setup instructions may increase threat.

Rebels taking an ally to a mission increases threat.

Also note the difference between threat (currency) and threat level (fixed for each mission according to the campaign log).

Also note the exact order of the status phase: 1.Increase threat by Threat Level, 2.ready, 3.Deploy/reinforce, 4.End of Round effects, 5.Increase round dial. You will notice that threat gained from end of round effects cannot be spent for deployments during the same status phase.

The Imperial player starts with 0 threat and then on round 2 the threat is increased by the campaign log (2 for Aftermath), at the start of each round the threat will increase by that number unless the mission say's otherwise.

Threat resets at the start of each mission unless the mission tells the Imperial player otherwise.
