Rogue One.. An Example of -Battle Meditation- force power in action?

By Atraangelis, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

We ll know the Scene when the rebel fleet begins to jump out after getting the plans.

At that moment Vaders Star Destroyer jumps in Exactly in the exit jump path of the rebel fleet causing them to abort and even taking a few ships out as they crash int the ISD's hull!!

This jump was so precise and timed so accurately, is this a TRUE cannon example of Battle Meditation as the only way to explain how to jump in so precise and as such an exact location???

Does this mean Vader has Battle Meditation??

I'm not sure Battle Meditation could be used to plot a hyperspace jump. However, it's entirely possible Vader is capable of navigating hyperspace using the Force - I've heard it suggested that Luke's reference to 'keeping it on manual for a while' after escaping from Hoth refers to him doing this.

However, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Vader knew Battle Meditation. Anakin Skywalker was a highly successful Jedi General during the Clone Wars and then spent years studying under Palpatine; it's been suggested in the old EU (the original Thrawn Trilogy, I think) that Palpatine was using it at Endor to guide the Imperial fleet without their knowledge, and when he was killed the fleet became disoriented which allowed the Rebels to finish the victory.

It also could just be the fact that Vader traveled along one of the known & more common hyperspace routes to Scarif, thus when the Rebels tried to escape, they had to get out of the way.

I understand that, but how do you explain comming out exactly at that point in time and space?? Hyperspace routes are not singular points or every ship comming out would drop out, on top of eachother.

Let me be clear, im sure the movie simply did it for dramatic effect, without delving into any kind of force buffoonery and it worked.

Im just letting my inner geek out a little, trying to find a Reason/Method it fits within the context of our roleplaying games. How could someone could time it so perfectly not knowing anything about the rebels timing of the attack and location of thier jump egress.

He simply ordered to drive on the wrong side of the lane for the last few seconds of hyperspace travel. So he came out on a exit from Scarif lane ^_^

Maybe Vader is strong with the Force? ;)
