So if I take out a whole group of Elite Snowtroopers they are only worth 9 victory points now instead of 10 because victory points are calculated by the figures' cost?
Victory Points for Figures vs. Deployment Groups
The question of the day, it would seem, right next to "I LIKE THE CHANGE BUT CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE FFG?"
Question to designers is sent. Apart from the can you make it sense part, of course. I wouldn't dare to.

Yes. (Confirmed by the Organized play group in Twitter.) Plus a skirmish attachment if any, they are scored separately like before.
The question on how Reinforcements interacts or doesn't interact is still open though.

On the flip side of that, Elite HK's and Elite Wookies are now worth 12 points instead of 11 due to figure cost. Assuming people are still taking those units nowadays.
Also forgot Elite Weequays, ISB infiltrators and Jet Troopers which are now 8 points rather that 7 which will be seeing use.
