Force and Destiny Classes and force-sensitive specs from other games

Is it legal to take one of the force-sensitive specializations from Edge of the Empire or Age of Rebellion if your career comes from Force and Destiny?

You cannot take them as your initial (free) specialization, but you can buy them (with XP) as additional specializations.

Do you then get the +1 Force benefit from that specialization?

No, should be that those specs state that you gain a FR of 1 if you don't have FR1 already.

OTOH, those specs should give you an FR+1 talent at the bottom of the tree, so you just have to buy your way down to it with XP.

The Force specs from Age of Rebellion and Edge of the Empire don't give you +1 FR for taking them, they give you FR 1 (if you don't already have it, or a higher FR).

The force sensitive emergent and exile are the only specializations that have the following phrase

You gain force rating 1

All the Force and Destiny careers have this also (however not the specs) once you have gained FR1 technically you cannot gain it again to gain your next FR need you to take the talent.
