Basically I started thinking about this build with the aim to get the most of Rex and suppressive fire. I quickly realized that suppressive fire could help biggs last longer which ofc would in turn help your end game piece last longer.The main problem then is Rex PS 4, which means his condition wouldn't be useful until the next round of fire. Likely too little to late. Thus enters Swarm Tactics.

Who to put Swarm Tactics on? I settled on the cheapest PS8 I could think of which is A. Cracken.

Kind of a lot, in a way to make Captain Rex work.... But it does leave 39 points for your end game Ace. Cracken could pass a TL to biggs for extra damage on the first round of fire or to your Ace. Also there is some nice synergy once biggs gets exploded. Does your opponent ignore pea shooter Rex and reliably throw one less dice every turn? Does he go after Cracken who will keep passing off free Actions to your end-game Ace or Rex?

Anyway, I went with 39 point PTL Norra, but who would you chose? I also considered Poe, Wedge, Mangler Canon Ten Numb. In the end, I think after Biggs explodes most opponents would likely go right after your main Ace so they don't get to end game. In this instance, I figured a regen ship with a kiting ability would be most useful, because it feeds into Rex's ability (most valuable overtime in a game of attrition).

(Not quite enough points for R2D2/Tailgunner, figured this might be just as good if you slow roll at the start)

Thoughts? Anybody else have Rex builds to share?

Rex + Biggs + Kanan would be absolutely hilarious. Most ships would be rolling 1 Red dice by the time Kanan and Rex had finished with them.

If you want Rex to fire first then Roark Garnet is an (expensive) option.
