I noticed today that even on the FFG website, the FaD Core Rulebook is out of stock. The only place I can find it is on Amazon from third-party sellers for $200. It's listed as a "collectible" item. Will the book ever be sold by FFG again?
Force and Destiny Core Rulebook out of stock?
Check out the Upcoming tab at the top of this page. The core is on a boat right now
did you try coolstuffinc.com?
So long as the line is active they won't let the core books go out of print. What tends to happen is that supply runs low and third party retailers jack up the prices. In reality FFG is extremely good at keeping the products coming. You just have to wait for them to order another print run if their sold out.
Where are you? I'm in Canada (they don't normally ship to the US) and usually go through MeepleMart I know they have a few in stock.

Man, I bought a copy from Amazon for $35 three weeks ago. Got in under the wire!
If my prediction abilities were worth anything anymore, I'd give you an estimated day that FFG would have it back in stock on their Web site, but recent books have cast my skills into question...
Ahh, what the heck, I'll give it a go! Standard models put it back in stores on February 16.
Edited by Absol197Yet they are sadly out of AoR Core which I now want to pick-up so I can get a copy with the errata in it--which apparently isn't available without repurchasing the book. ![]()

I would FFG call many things, but not extremely good at keeping the supply up, they have products running out of stock for sometimes over 9 months, I am still waiting to get Forged in Battle and two other books over regular supply channels and stuff runs out all the time with FFG and is for months in reprinting and on the boat.
FFG is clearly below average in keeping the supply up. They still do reprints, so the books will be avaible again sooner or later, but FFG is so conservative with reprints that they will run soon enough again and run out of stock again for months. Sometimes pre-orders even exceed avaible units from reprints - at least on individual store level. ;-)
Edited by SEApocalypseI think they tend to do initial print runs lower than they could, so that they don’t get stuck with any unsold merchandise in their warehouses.
The trick to that sort of thing is to then be quick to order another print run, if the books do sell out quickly. And since their printers are in China, and FFG has a hell of a lot of games that they handle, and even if they were 100% on top of the game the whole time, orders could still get easily backlogged in printing and/or delayed in shipping.
But I would prefer that FFG do whatever they need to do in order to stay in business, because this is the best game I’ve seen anywhere in a very long time, and I want to be able to continue to play this and see new content coming out in this game system for a much longer time yet to come.
