Well what are you looking for top meta builds or just what is new? Well besides Scum now getting their own huge ship here are some significant news for scum.
I think that just about wraps it all up.
Scum is awesome. There are loads of fun lists that can be done, and a couple top tier meta lists as well.
Buy it all. Except the K-fighter. Nobody cares about it, and the protectorate is superior anyway.

I had the exact same thought as you - to answer simply with the suggestion of looking at any X-Wing retailer who lists their products by alliance.
Favourite ships? Firespray, Protectorate, plus I think the Lancer will get my vote due to the pilots and competitiveness of the ship.
Well....the meta is the most open it's been ever. So, there might be some top builds out there, but there are a lot of builds that would be good in the right hands.
Attanni Mindlink has made a lot of Scum ships do much better. I've seen reports and heard of people using it with Heavy Scyks to do really well. This was all before the new Heavy Scyk title change.
Heavy Scyk title change gives an extra Hull Point for the same cost. So, it's a little beefier. You don't even have to take another upgrade.
A few people have been flying 5 Kihraxz Fighters and doing well. Five cheap ships with 3 attack dice are pretty brutal if you get in front of them. Their 1 hard turn also makes it easier for them to keep people in their firing arc.
Fenn Rau has become really big and popular, but not so much for the other Fang Fighters.
YV-666 filled with different crew is always a big hit.
The Shadowcaster is also a great new ship.

I didn't think I ever would, but I really like the YV-666. A bit slow and cumbersome, but also hard-hitting and flexible.
Probably the ships I think, would be:
JumpMaster
Protectorate
Lancer
Note: The JumpMaster is not actually hard to fly even with its dial being lopsided, just throw unhinged on, and you're good.
basically anything with mindlink is apparently viable, though the big one is Fenn Rau + asajj + manaroo
also crew in the misthunter + crew in the jumpmaster (which you also get for mindlink and g-chips now) can be jammed onto a T. Slaver for a "partybus" which is quite the railgun
Y-wings with TLT + r4 aggromech are also "criminally" overlooked ![]()

I love the Firespray, but it just isnt up to speed on the competitive scene, which is a travesty. More Scum players need to post a Firespray fix thread when a T 65 one comes up. Maybe it's just me, but I cant make it work.

Thing is Imperials have Palpmobile and I don't see him going away anytime soon, unless there was an assassin ship that had a single discarding attack which could wipe out Palpmobile.
As for Scum well scum is the new Rebel as in they got all the tools to be good, or Scum is the new Imperial as they got the best in support attack ships.
Poor spray has a few problems between cost, base size and no 1turn
But mindlink, or maybe even expertise. on kath or boba (scum) shouldnt be all bad in a local scene

Wrong. Kihraxz package contains Lightning reflexes (only source) and crackshot (Hound's Tooth or Imperial Veterans as well).
Protectorate has the superior dial, but no shield, and no Illicit(!).
Glitterstim Kihraxzes hit hard. And people seem to have success with Fenn and Talonbane together (have not tried yet).
With Inspiring recruits maybe even a solution for glittering double stress Kihraxz.
Maybe worth to try:
3x Cartel Marauder, Concussion Missile, Scavenger crane, Guidance chips (add a crit, as base att 3)
1x Cartel Marauder, XX23 Tracers, Guidance chips, either ini bid or Slicer Tools or Dampener
or
2x Black Sun Ace, Mindlink, Concussion Missile, Scavenger Crane, Guidance chips
Kaato Leachos, Mindlink, Concussion Missile, Scavenger crane, Guidance chips
Tansari Point Vet, Mindlink. (for the evade tokens).
Should point out that in order for the Firespray to go Scum, you need Most Wanted, which also gives you a Scummy Y-Wing and two Z-95s, along with Scum pilots for a HWK, which could be best of the lot since a Palob Godahli/Moldy Crow works well with Attanni Mindlink, too.
Star Viper is a ship with potential, but you definitely need it for Autothrusters (AT) for use with other ships with boost, including Rebel and Imperial ships. (Typical Fenn Rau is Fearlessness/AT/Protectorate title, which can roll five die plus one automatic Hit in nose-to-nose one-range encounter.)
