Brilliant game.
Shame about the number of duplicates of unuseable stuff.
I know this is a collectable card game so I expect to get some cards I don't want again. (Anybody want a 'Noble sacrifice'? No thought not!)
I didn't expect to get 2 BB'8s & 2 Rey's staff in each of the 3 extra boxes I've bought.
Yes that's 7 of each I've got, because of course I bought both starter sets.

I've found that the boxes average between 6 - 8 'starter rares' each (that is, the rares like: Rey's Staff, BB-8, Jedi Robes, Immobilize, TIE Fighter etc...) Which is unfortunate, but I suppose all part of playing the game. I've started giving the Staff's away to new players.
Side note: Yesterday I used Noble Sacrifice to outfox an eJango player. Rey, with one health left. I put One With The Force on her, he activated a Stormtrooper, then I Noble Sacrificed her to exhaust Jango. It was the drop I needed to take the advantage and swing the game's momentum my way.

I have posted the numbers before but suffice to say the statistical average number of starter rares you should get in a box of 36 boosters is pretty much bag on 5, if you get more than that you are quite unlucky (and likewise lucky should you open less), some unfortunate souls have opened up to 9 in a box of booster, and possibly more than that I would guess.
I think what really annoys me is that Rey's staff and BB8 being unique makes pulling additional ones just that much more annoying, would happily have had Rey's staff be a starter exclusive if force throw was a pack rare.

Ummmm....I'd take unwanted stuff. I am just startin out.

My thought when I pulled BB-8 and other starter Rares from my Booster Box was that more of them should have been starter only cards. Why the really good ones (Lightsaber, Force Throw, and Mind Probe) were starter only, vs unique cards like BB-8 and Rey's staff made little sense.
The Unique Cards should have been starter only. (And Finn should have had a second die).
It is a shame that you do get so many of the same card. You do have to remember that not every set will have starter decks.
