Fleet (394/400)

==================

Imperial I-class Star Destroyer (110 + 28)

+ Admiral Motti (24)

+ Leading Shots (4)

Imperial I-class Star Destroyer (110 + 4)

+ Leading Shots (4)

Raider I-class Corvette (44 + 11)

+ Ordnance Experts (4)

+ Flechette Torpedoes (3)

+ Instigator (4)

Gozanti-class Cruisers (23)

Gozanti-class Cruisers (23)

IG-88 (21)

Colonel Jendon (20)

I know there are other ways to get 5 activations but I only have 2 gozantis. The fact was that I was wondering how I could get something like some rebels do with just two squadron and I figure out that ig-88 could work as long as he is awesome to kill escorted intel squads and jendon give him two shots. For me is enough to kill junpmasters ore hwk. I think it isn't against ors or dengar but I add instigator with fetched torpedoes. What do you think? It could work? What could be better? Anyone has experience with tiny screens? What objectives would you play?

Why kill the Intel when your 2 fighters won't really last more than a few shots. A decent fighter force could pin your 2 fighters in combats away from the bombers with a single Tie or A-wing or they could just swat you out of the sky.

I would go for 5 Tie-F or 2 Tie-F + 2 Tie-A. then you have the option of swarming in to get some kills and mess up a bomber wave for a crucial turn or drip feeding them in to harass.

I would get a second raider, instigator and a second raider can lay the hurt on fighters ( gozanti and IG pay for this). You can then get a tie fighter + a scatter ace to protect instigated.

I know. I never play with less than 4 fighters but I see how other fleets play with just 2 squadron and they win. I was wondering how to achieve something similar even when the first I need it to learn to play with just those squadrons.

Anyway I think I could drop out the leading shots and add saber squadron. This way I am pretty sure about killing Ors or Dengar more times than not.

I would consider Ordnance Experts instead of Leading Shots, also I strongly suggest to add comms net to Gozantis. I'm not sure that killing Intel is that relevant given that you only have two squads.

I have relay 2

I said to kill Intel as an example of something I could do to tie the enemy squadrons. You both are right about that two squadrons won't stand a long time. I could use them to kill the most threatening squad rather than the intel one. I just wondered if IG-88 and Jendon could work as tycho and an a-wing as some rebels players did. I am not sure if some imperial player had some success with just two squadron. Maybe Soontir and an advanced, Rudor with a tie...

I like the idea. I have room to equip it with fetched too. Hmm :)

Well.. Relay 2 and a rogue squadron. And Jendon with no clear benefit from his ability. You have 40-45 points of squads, which is not a small number by itself. For example: 4 TIE/Int (44) or Morna Kee + Valen Rudor (40) or 2 Agressors (32)

I activate rogue squadrons in the ship phase more often than I do during the squadron phase. The benefits are pretty clear. The use of Jendon is, obviously, to get two shots through escorts but I agree with you. There are many other ways to spend those 41 points. I love interceptor but I worry about how good they will be with snipe out there. Probably the best option would be howl + 3 ties but I really liked the 2 ISD 2 fetched raiders 1 gozanti and a TIE + Rudor.

What objectives? I played so many little ships list recently that I am lost about big ones and good objectives to them. What about the new ones? Something interesting?

Bit late to the party, Ciena and Whisper. That is what you are looking for. You wont stop their squadrons completely, but you can give it a **** good go.

Yep they would be a pain to clear out, and lay a lot of hurt at the same time.
