With Adaptive Ailerons & Lightning Reflexes, you can effectively do a 0-speed K-turn and still take an action—once.

1. AA goes forward one
2. LR rotates you and gives you a stress
3. Dial's maneuver of green 1 forward puts you back where you were and removes that stress.

And even more mostly-stationary shenanigans if you use banks.

Indeed. Duchess is pretty cheap, and doesn't really need her EPT for anything specific - Lightning Reflexes might be an interesting option. Add it into the ability to ignore Adaptive Ailerons at will, and you're approaching Echo-esque levels of "where the bloody hell is that ship now??!?!"

A TIE striker has a speed 3 green straight, too, so technically can manage a "white" speed 1 backflip, if so inclined!

EDIT: It works with the AA move, but you wouldn't clear the stress with a dialed green.

LR says you get a stress AFTER the "check pilot stress" step. So it would be:

Perform AA move

Use LR

Perform a green move on dial

Check stress? No stress to remove.

Get stress from LR.

Right?

Each manoeuvre has its own Check Pilot Stress step as of the TFA rules reference.

I don't think this will work.

Ailerons happens before the dial reveal, LR is used after you execute a white or green maneuver on your dial.

It's if you execute a maneuver that is on your dial, not your dial maneuver.

Hence why they FAQ'd it to not work with moves that are not on your dial, like Ion and Juno's ability.

The 1 banks from AA are on the ships dial, therefore LR works.

Pair with Tetran Cowell and Adrenaline Rush for best results.
