Relentless and Attacks?

By GyldenDamgaard, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

So, I think I read somewhere, that when someone else makes an attack with a Trandoshan Hunter with Relentless, Relentless doesn't trigger, because of the wording of Relentless (whenever "YOU" declare an attack...) I'm thinking about for instance Murne's False Orders or the eImperial Officer... am I completely off the mark? It came up in a game last night and I think I may have screwed the rules up... :(

You refers to both the player and the figure. I'm pretty sure the Trandoshan would trigger relentless even when commanded by Murne

The abilities of the figure performing the attack are available even when controlled by another figure (for example with False Orders), so Relentless triggers provided the target figure is within 3 spaces.

When Imperial Officer Executive Orders another figure to perform an attack, that figure is performing the attack, and Relentless is certainly available.

(Almost always you refers to the figure performing the ability in the campaign. You refers to the player a little more often in skirmish than in campaign.)

Hm, I have no idea how I wrapped my head around it like that. Thanks for clearing it up...
