Probably the TIE Interceptor. Randomly high up for me is the TIE Punisher, which just looks brutal.
Best looking ship?
y wing for ever
I love the Y-Wing, unfortunately it is one of the weakest looking models in the game.
Victim of wave 1 inexperience. bad sculpt ("turret", right) met bad paintjob. Most Wanted Y-Wings look better on the paintjob and if you increase contrast on the stock Y-Wing it already goes a long way, but in the end nothing saves the bad turret. Now that they established resculpting I really hope that in a possible "Battle of Scarif" pack with an X-Wing and Y-Wing they would do both ships justice.
Amazing how much of people's love of Star Wars is nostalgia. :-)
I am partial to the TIE/sf. The lines of the classic TIE, but the back engines and viewport are sexy.

Bring it on..... x and y wing fix with a campaign
that said ..... y-wings for ever
TIE Striker for me, while it has its wings down.
I've actually started to love that little guy with one up and one down. It looks like it is prepared to make a nice bank maneuver.
Raider.
No question, those lines, that sleek impressive look of a predator lying in wait.
I really enjoy the Yv-666. I remember seeing it in the Star Wars encyclopedia the library had when I was a kid, it's boxy design really interested me and I wasn't disappointed by the finished model.
Also the defender is a beautiful ship to look at.
I'm surprised there's no love for the Jumpermaster. It's probably my second favorite, not by much.
For me, probably the Firespray.
Im surprised no one has mentioned it yet, the YT-2400 is a gorgeous model, hasnt seen much table play for me but I love looking at it. The Ghost is also one of my favorit designs reminds me of a fatter version of the escape shuttle from Alien.
U-Wing by far is my favorite looking ship model, it's pretty awesome in terms of detail, paint scheme, and a slight weathered look. I didn't think I was going to like it... but I do. A LOT.
Quick second place is the scarlet red Interceptor. it's just sexy.
The B-Wing from the Aces pack is pretty awesome looking too, and I've always been a fan of the look of the B. Jake's A-Wing looks really awesome too.
They have done a great job overall....
No ones mentioned the HWK, or Phantom
Mine is the Bomber or Y-Wing, love that bulk
TIE Interceptor
Starviper. Seeing that model in the packages in the store is what originally attracted me to the game
Starviper.
In second place, everything that isn't the Starviper.
All the models are greatly detailed and well painted right out of the box so much that even if I don't like the design of a ship (k-wings, Ghost, punisher, raider-if you like them that's cool, just not my jam) FFG still makes them look fantastic.
What got me into the game though was seeing the Millennium Falcon in the box. The details on that old bucket of bolts are impressive.
Runners up for me are the ARC-170, Slave 1, TIE Interceptors, and the Rebel Transport.
Wow, the best looking ship? That's really hard to decide. Fantasy Flight has so many really awesome looking figures.
Initially I thought the Lambda shuttle. I just love the ship, it's looks. But that wasn't the best paint job. I was really excited when FFG brought the TIE Defender in the game since I love them so much in my PC games and they were deadly in Empire at War.
But since you asked ' best looking ship '. I would go with the initial release of the Millennium Falcon .
When it was first released the detail and paint job was the absolute best. Not just a quick wash or a dab of paint. It is a sweet looking model. Even the new one I bought for display doesn't seem to have as good of a paint job. Less attention to the detail I guess.
Many of their ships have really great paint jobs, or fantastic detail. All this for out of the box figures. I love looking at the CR-90. But for best looking, not favorite ship, the Falcon still wins the show's 1st place award for me.
So in summary, in my opinion when the Millennium Falcon first came out it was and still is the best looking for detail and painting of all Fantasy Flight X-Wing models.
[Edit: P.S. it helps that it is so iconic and like above it was the very first X-Wing miniature ship I saw
Other favorites include the ARC-170, TIE Bomber, CR-90 (yes!) TIE Defenders (they just look like a predator to me) and of course the impressive TIE Interceptor.]
Edited by Ken at SunriseI'm going to have to give one per faction - too hard to split it...
Rebs = A-Wing (even despite the retcon scale)
Imps = T.A.P.
S&V = Scyk
Overall it's gotta be the Squint.
Though the lambda and AWings are close runners up.
The YT-2400. It's so underrated.
I appreciate that you can see in its design that it's the natural evolution from the 1300. It has a visual balance despite its asymmetrical nature.
I just wish it was a little bit better in-game.
Heavy Nostalgia Bias, but I adore the Tie Interceptor. It has deadly angles, looks fast, the whole fighter just screams murder to me.
This. And the Defender for even more spikey-murder, and with the red pint jobs... yes.
I also love the Firespray. I didn't like the design before getting the model. In the Kath Scarlett scheme it's beautiful to look at.
For me definitely the Ghost i just love that ship
Without hesitation, the Starviper.
Honorable mention to the Scyk and the ARC-170.
