This upgrade can't exist because of Biggs.
Biggs is going to spend 3 points... for what, elusiveness?
2 points after R4d6 is made free, sure... but still costing more than biggs is getting out of it.

Edited by RakaydosOh, this is a fix x-wing topic?
I want there to be a clear role for different ships in each faction. Having two ships that fill the exact same role at nearly the exact same point cost is just a surefire way to make sure that one ship won't be flown. It's the same reason people had a problem with the TIE/fo and TAP. Thankfully the Tech Slot and the TAP title, in addition to the TAP's access to autothrusters, did enough to distinguish these two ships when it comes to which role they're filling. With the B-Wing and X-Wing, this doesn't quite hold true, because while the B-Wing can fill the role of a heay weapons platform with its upgrades, it works just as well as a filler jouster as the X-Wing does.
Edited by Underachiever599I like the idea of a title card for the B-wing that allows you to barrel roll in the same way as Echo does with the 1 bank instead of the 2 bank.
This provides a unique game effect that actually reflects one of the aspects of the B-wings unique abilities to perform non-standard barrel rolls.
Call it roll & yaw or pitch & roll. This would help with the B-wings easily out flanked firing arc.

I actually think something like that is a better fit for an Expert Handling-style EPT. Let anyone take it, but those that do not already have Post Maneuver Movement gain a greater benifit.
This is one reason I favor extra EPTs for the Xwing.
I've done some thinking about the B-Wing. Here's my thoughts.
So the B-Wing never had "standard" laser cannons. It had an HLC, 3 ion cannons, a cluster of autoblasters for close air support, and it's proton torpedo launchers.
So perhaps we could make a title like this:
A/SF-01 B-Wing, Title, X Points cause i dunno:
Add the <Cannon> upgrade slot to your upgrade bar, and equip a cannon that costs 3 or less points for free. You may not perform primary weapon attacks. After you perform a <Cannon> secondary weapon attack, you may perform an attack with a different equipped <cannon> secondary weapon. You may not attack again this turn.
Reinforce it's heavy firepower by keeping it in the realm of cannons.
The B-wing rolls the X-wing does not.....
...Yeah. He said so in his post.
"The X-Wing's superior dial is further offset by the B-Wing's ability to barrel roll, which requires a 2 point upgrade for the X-Wing to pull off. "
i like this.
mainlining a mangler and with that title at 3 points (so its just an extra attack at little/no cost, but not free) means you could fit 3 FCS Mangle/Ion (or Mangle/Tractor or Mangle/Flechette if you are one of those people) daggers in 100
couple that with expanding the X-Wing's role from pure jousting (to make up for the B-Wing now being the King of Cannons, First and Last of His Name, Undefeated in the Joust, Let Those Who Stand Against Him Know Fear Forevermore.) would give some different options for sure
