It does suck that one of the better characters in the movie didn't get a card, but maybe FFG will remedy that in a future release. However, I only think he'll show up whenever they get to Rogue One in Imperial Assault. With that you get a cool little model of him instead of just a card.

Lt. Shraes. Don't know about the English version, but the Polish leaflet that comes with U-wing references him as one of the pilots included in the set.

My guess is that she's the U-Wing pilot on Scarrif that Bistam was the door gunner on and there was addition footage that was cut from the release version of the movie. I mean Bistam was on screen for what 3 seconds and he gets a crew card and a Lego mini figure! (U-Wing Lego set is awesome BTW!)

Well, they gave FFG a name of a new X-wing pilot from the movie, I don't see how giving a name of an U-wing pilot instead would be any different.

I meant Disney/LFL giving some more story/role details about the respective character to FFG enabling FFG to make a more fitting/immersive pilot/crew card heightens the risk for leaks.

Side A: "When a stress token is removed from a friendly ship at range 1-2, you must flip this card over."

Side B: "When a friendly ship at range 1-2 is defending, it may reroll 1 green die. If it does, you must flip this card over. Because the card said so."

So basically, he pairs well with Cassian who removes stress from friendly ships, and then Cassian "sends him to help" nearby friendlies. Just requires stress to be removed either by Cassian, or doing a green maneuver. We all know defense mods are rare, so this takes some type of effort to make work, but with Cassian and wingman, etc, it could happen every round. You could get multiple uses from him in a round like when Farlander attacks, that removes a stress token as well, which would enable K2SO again.

That sort of wording is what I thought of initially, but for it to really be K-2SO I think it should really work on more than just attacks. Just as C-3PO can be used on more than just agility rolls, improving Lando rolls is the first I think of, K-2SO could be used to decrease the danger of something like daredevil or mines, or improve Anti-Pursuit Lasers...

Maybe he'll be in the next Epic Rebel ship.

Donnie Yen needs to be in here though, he's awesome. And expertise should be called "One with the Force".

Chirrut will be a crew card that allows you to assign a 2-sided condition card I Am One With The Force/The Force Is With Me.

I Am One With The Force gives you a defensive bonus of some sort, The Force Is With Me side lets you take actions even when stressed. Flip when you reveal you dial.

Job done.

Surely must be coming as a crew card. Have no idea why he wasn't with the U-wing (especially as a pilot AND crew).

What else are we "missing" from Rogue One, and where could K-2SO show up in the future?

Certainly X-wing and Y-wing pilots could be added from the movie.

Perhaps a "Heroes of Scarif" expansion? Or the much speculated "Rebel Veterans"?

Can we expect an expansion a bit like "Most Wanted", in that pilot cards (and base tokens and dials) are present for ships not included as miniatures that expansion?

I would love a set with alternate paint scheme X-wing and Y-wing, more pilots and droids, along with new U-wing stuff for K-2SO as pilot and crew.
