I'm playing a 120 point game and was toying around with an all X-wing rebel list. Any thoughts? Should I go named pilots or red squadron pilots?

If you are just playing for fun, I always enjoy a good BB-8 Wedge build.
Looking to run Wedge and Garven. Then 2 red squad x-wing. What upgrades should i take?
4 ship list to be sure. For fun give everyone a torp of some kind and see how it goes. Inquiring minds want to know. I would also mix T65 and T70s but like the rest of this post, that's just me.
Edit: Just saw your update. I would try to balance out all 4 ships to make choices for your opponent harder. You can still fly Wedge, Garven, and a couple Squaddies; just don't go full Bat-Wedge mode IMHO.

Wedge is like Biggs. He'll die first. If you can pull off some fancy moves with BB-8 maybe he will make it through 2 turns of combat. You can fly him solo as a flanker, possibly, and time his attack to hit the same time as the other group.
Lone Wolf Luke is your end game threat. If your opponent leaves him for last he is very tanky.
The Rookie should have M9-G8 target lock Garven. Garven is your real heavy hitter because everyone will be shooting at Luke or Wedge. Garven gets a reroll from M9 and can spend his focus to trigger Calculation, as he won't need it on defense. Luke can then use it to heal.
Gimmicky but fun
Wes Janson is amazing - the ability to strip off tokens is very nasty, but also pairs well with Opportunist on pilots further down the food chain.
As a rule, I'd go for the named pilots - unique X-wing pilots generally have very good abilities, and 'dumbing down' to red squadron or rookies will only net you an increase from 4 ships to 5 - one of which would generally die before shooting anyway (because 120 points firing has a fair chance of killing a ship straight off).
