I downloaded the Dice App
ouch
Yeah makes me laugh when people say using the apps unfair they've clearly never actually used it.
I had a bad spell for a while with my dice and switched to the app. Then...I dropped the app for dice as they dice weren't that bad!!!
The app also sucks for me too. I kind of feel like it's truly random and dice are sort of sort of random.
I just used it for an emergency, but i still have it on my tablet.
I will only use in case i forgot the dice again!
I don't trust much random dice apps with my awful experience with the Bloodbowl PC game.
But in my little experience it didn't feel as unfair as the BB pc game.

If you played BB in singleplayer thats actually a warranted feeling (unlike with the FFG dice app). They couldn't get the AI not to suck, so on harder difficulties you will just roll worse.

I played (started) some campaigns in single player. And one multiplayer league.
Let's state that i'm not a good player, but my wood elves continually missing 2+ rolls on agility always got my nerves.
And yes, the IA plays like a total moron, but when on the last turn, the IA halfling team makes a perfect long pass, and a perfect reception (and touchdown for the draw), you feel VERY cheated.
More when on your turn you missed a hand-pass (with humans).
I went to a trip with some relatives, and the birthday present was a VCX, a MF, and a punisher, so i packed my (by then) new TIE/sf and my new Fang to play a little.
But i forgot to pack the dice
So we used the app.
As i said the experience was not of a bad random motor as in BB pc game. But obviously, as you are not throwing dice, it feels weird, and "not your luck".
Oh yeah, the AI also rolls better. That game is a great example of how to not do difficulty scaling.
