Rebel 2 crew member

So I think we can all assume that the illustrious Jabba will take up two crew slots with his -cough- healthy size

So let's look

The empire has Palpatine

The scum has Jabba

Who will the rebels have that will take up two crew slots

Mon Mothma?

Ackbar?

Obi-wan?

Also whoever it is what do you think they will do

And on that what will our big boned sluglord do in this game and will it be as terrible as what the pruned up lightning shooter does?

It will probably be Obi-Wan, as he is now going to be in Rebels show as well. His power will probably do something with defensive focus results as most force users do in this game.

Once per round, when a friendly ship at range 1-3 is defending, it may add one eyeball result to its roll.

Rebels don't really need a 2x<crew> member. If you take a look at the rebel ships they have one of the lowest counts for <crew> upgrade slots of all the factions with only the U-wing and YT-1300 being the ships that can take a double crew. Where as both scum and Imperials have ships with a 3x<crew> slot.

Also how would the 2x crew fit the theme? It makes sense with Jabba (because of the massive bulk of the hutt) and with Emperor Palpatine (because the most powerful man in the galaxy never travels alone). But as for the mentioned named characters in the Rebel universe not likely. Yoda is small he can travel in that pocket rocket pod in Episode 3, Obi Wan is a ghost so he doesn't need a <crew> slot and both Mon Mothma and Admiral Akbar are average humanoid size that doesn't have a posse following them around everywhere.

Now you could design Mon Mothma and Admiral Akbar to be two sides of the same coin so they work good on their own but work better when put on the same ship making them like the double <crew> upgrade cards of the other factions. Such as Admiral Akbar ability once per round when friendly ship is attacking add 1 red die and Mon Mothma's ability once per round when friendly ship is defending add 1 green die. both 5 points making them great on a YT-1300 as a 10 point double crew upgrade. Something like that would work for the rebels.

Palpatine isn't 2 crew because of his size or other fluff but of his value. It limits the ships he can travel on (can you imagine Palpatine on Whisper?) and is an added cost without using actual points.

Unless that Hutt has an impact that warrants it, there's no need to think he'll need 2 slots.

Assuming they don't want to soft-lock his ability to Epic - I'm going to err on the side that Jabba isn't a double crew. The 2 Crew on Palp is a hard limiter, it restricts him to Epic in which he is printed, and appropriate large-base ships in standard play - with TIE Shuttle explicitly worded to avoid cheap, cheap palp carriers. Scum, on the other hand, are much more limited in terms of double crew slots, a 2 Crew Jabba would be limited to the C-ROC, the YV and presumably future Scum epic. Since they could just make him "Huge Only" if he's supposed to stay in Epic, I'm going to say the intent is not to just stick him in the YV-666. Instead, may he join the other options for Scum crew in the highly competitive slot - so competitive that of course one of the C-ROC's titles is to add more crew slots and then with Azmorigan you can switch crew!

Interestingly though, Scum don't have a 2-crew carrier. They have several 1-crew ships, and the YV which takes 3. Jabba's gonna have to be amazing to merit spending that much to carry him, if he takes 2 slots.

Given an obvious ship that's been seen on screen and not used yet; the Resistance Transport might have 3 crew slots, and could come with a "General Organa" version of Leia Organa...

At the start of the Combat phase, shower a wave of slobber onto one enemy ship at range 1-2 and assign them an "Oopsie" condition token.

"Ewok Village" (could also be title for Ewok glider expansion) 8 pts

After performing and attack you may add 2 rock results to your sling.

Obi Wan (Dual Side) 8pts

Side one: I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

You maybspend one focus foken to change up to 2 blank defense dice to evade results.

You may flip this card over during the end phase.

You may assign 1 enemy ship in arc at range 1-2 a tractor beam and ion token
