Super surprised to see no tractor tokens in the spread. I would have expected a heavy tractor beam hard point to be included.

Since this seems like the scum counterpart to the Rebel GR-75 Transport/Imperial Goznati Carrier I expect another Epic Expansion pack for Scum in the near future. One that is more comparable to the CR-90 Corvette/ Imperial Raider. There might be some heavy tractor beam tokens that can move even large ships.

I am by no means a fan of the Scum faction, but that is one pretty looking model.

Yeah, but you know FFG will make the model look decent.

Compared to making the k-wing look tolerable, making the Wild Karde look cool will be easy.

Yeah, it has the updated text. I'm guessing as an update of an existing card it wasn't as high a priority as adding new options.

They should have just printed them as a duel card. Would have saved time fir sure.

I guess this means Jabba - or at the very least, another crew member somewhere - will be doling out an Extra Munitions effect for illicts. Where this gets interesting is in providing reliability to a cloaking device or other random-chance-discard.

I'd kinda hope he was an anti-ace tech, though - Palp (by dint of his once-per-turn ability) favors smaller groups. Would've been fun if Jabba (by dint of a everyone-vs-one mechanic) favored having a horde flying with him...

Let's say, hypothetically, that Jabba does grant an effect like Extra Munitions but for the Illicit slot for each Illicit in your squad. Then let's say you put Vizago on one of your ships. You get to use Glitterstim or Cloaking Device or "Hot Shot" Blaster one time, discard the token, then discard the card for a new Illicit because your original one was still face-up. That's some pretty neat versatility.

Sigh* New scyk title packaged with epic ship. But I don't care about epic. Therefore, FFG must not care about me. I was hoping they wouldn't do this again what with the scyk FAQ change. If Jabba the Hut is auto-include like Palpatine, the money-grabbing will officially be at catastrophic levels.

PSA : If you don't play epic, please don't purchase this ship. Cinematic play sounds great if you can manage it though.

Did I miss something? Has FFG changed its business modus operandi to that of a non-profit company? Has Disney, Hasbro, etc. done the same? Have we progressed to a level of post scarcity economics, technological prowess that offers in home replication of the game pieces at the current level of production or quality? Have X-wing miniatures become an actual necessity of life?

The reason I ask is, unless any or all of the above has come to pass, the term "money-grabbing" borders on the moronic.

Therefore FFG should ship out empty boxes and charge a million dollars per empty box. Because they're not a charity!

probably the Action-VI

Reasoning.. The Scum faction is more organized crime and shady characters than proper military. their small Epic is a transport. so their Big Epic should also be a transport.

in terms of gameplay, the baseline Action-VI is basically a big transport. lots of cargo spaces and passengers. basically a GR-75 on steroids. but they are also frequently modified, some to the point of being lower grade warships. which means that you could get upgrade options for durability, like the GR's combat retrofit, and Cargo cards (probably Action-VI only) that let you mount weapon hardpoints. maybe even a Epic ship only modification card card that lets you dock fighters, letting you add fighter carriage (probably only 2 fighters) ala the Gozanti's rules, to reflect retrofitted hangers or docking fighters to airlocks. which would let you (hopefully) use it with the CR-90 to duplicate the fighter carrying Corvettes sen in rebels.

it probably wouldn't be as good in a battle as the Corvette or Raider in a direct comparison, but with high customization, it could be something with a lot of build options and tactics.

If you mean the smaller of the epic ships, this would be it.

I'm curious what larger ship that is cr90 sized will be. If it even happens since there's nothing in the film or TV canon that sized.

Well i was hoping that they do the awesome Broken Horn model details and paint scheme not the ugly Merchant One guess i will have to employ some of my DIY skills hopefully they included my favorite Rebels/clone wars character Hondo Ohnaka

I am happy to see this announcement finally happen.

I like that the model isn't just a Gozanti repaint. I really like the design of the scyk repaint as well. I can't wait for the next articles showing more details.

Also, it will be fun to see someone do a diorama with a quadjumper or two pushing the scum epic around.

Nothing says you automatically decloak if you lose the cloak action. Otherwise cloaking device wouldn't have to force you to decloak when it breaks

That's kind of my point. When the cloaking device breaks (i.e. there is no longer an active cloaking device), you are forced to de-cloak. Surely removing the cloaking device itself is the same as having it break - there is no longer a functional cloaking device on your ship to maintain the "cloak"

Sure, it's not clarified on the card in question just as other potential wrinkles with other illicit upgrades current and future are not clarified (there is no room on the card and it's beyond the card's scope)

I was really hoping they were going to kind of let Epic ships fade into nothingness. At least its just the M-3 ship and not the Starviper so I don;t have to feel compelled to even pay attention to it.

I'm thinking new mods or other upgrade for Epic ships. The average collector of epic ships probably only has one of each. With this being the 5th ship, it makes sense to have one of each of these upgrades for each epic ship.

I totally agree. Can't wait to see what they do! I don't play Scum (I have way more Scum ships than I ever use) but I may just have to pick this one up anyway!

Nothing in the card or hte rules supports having to decloak if the cloaking device is removed without breaking. It could already happen before this. Boba Fett for instance could remove it.
