As I said from the NC Regional, I can definitely vouch that Britt is a super good guy! Really love this community!
I'll second that! (I believe I actually played him there).

Britt is the reason why Armada is a gentleman's game.
Ben is the reason Armada is a flame war.
Be like Britt.
Droz69, thanks to you for running a great tournament and to Warriors 3 store for hosting such a fun event. Everyone I met were very friendly and great competitors.
Itobergs, your fleet and Q's fleet were my inspirations for my MI list build. The MC80 kitted out is incredibly durable and throws a lot of dice. Unless your opponent is willing to throw everything at it, it is going to play havoc with your opponent's fleet. Coupled w the 2016-7 regionals data, I was emboldened to use it.
Undeadguy, you may call me Muad'Dib . J/k
How does the super dupper MC80 hold up against bombers or were they a concern. Love your list. Insert cheeky request for tournament report here ![]()

My 3rd round opponent Dan Ebert had a Rebel squadrons list that included 3 BWings, Biggs, Jan Ors and 3 YT1300s. He was pushing them with a Pelta Command, GR75 combat refit, Bright Hope w BCC and MC80 Liberty. I'm not sure if that constitutes a heavy bomber list, but I made a point of staying out of reach of his bombers w all but a CR90. The MC80 w engine techs allowed me to cut across the axis of his advance, flank his Liberty and destroy it in 2 turns. At that point, his bombers were out of position to attack the bulk of my fleet. I disengaged except for a couple of opportunity shots. I lost a CR90, but my MC80 was never threatened. That was my closest match due to Dans skillfulness and his fleet composition.
Edited by wolfpack95Mind. Blown. Sir, you've inspired me to dump all my existing wave 5 lists and go back to the drawing board. Well-played!

Was he using entrapment or affm in the fleet command slot? The issue I see with that fighter complement, even with FCT's, would be speed if he was using entrapment. An ET'd MC80 is surprisingly slippery. If you outmanuevered that while he was using AFFM though, my hat is so far off to you as to be approaching escape velocity.

Yes, he was usIng FCT and AFFM.
Shame Ben killed large ships. This would be amazing if it were true. But we all know how impossible it is to win with big ships.
