When did the Quadjumper become the Quackjumper? Some thread or podcast that I missed?
I believe it was just a typo.

I got informed that I might see my Upsilon towards the latter half of this month. I hope for sooner than later, but it'll teach me not to include anything else on the pre-order with it... so painful waiting for something else that you know IS in stock.

It is now forever changed. Just like Chimps, I propose, from here on out, the Jumper of Quad capacity shall forever more be revered as Quacks

Except wasn't Chimps intentional? I remember the very first time I read the name, thinking "oh these are gonna be called Guidance Chimps". I even remember having a mental image of a chimp on a missile, and someone later in the forums professed to imagine that very same mental image when reading the card.
No, I seem to recall it sprang from a typo in an article.
We've just been informed of a Feb 17th release date for the remaining ships in Wave 10.

Where was this announced?
Word from the European supplier to FLGS. That's all I have.
My supposition is that they will not release to be legal before the end of the end of the 2016 Regional track which is February 25th, 2017.
It will keep the Regional playing field level across all of them that way.

Seconded

Problem is they already showed that they really don't care about that by releasing the Uwing and Striker.

That would fit perfectly with the 17th Feb release date in that case, wouldn't it?
We have been unofficially told that the rest of the wave should drop around Jan 25. Just days before the Phoenix regional. And if you look at the wording of what is legal when, you will see that everything is legal when it drops as far as regionals goes. We will see.

2 of the UK regionals were moved to March 4th/5th due to clashes with the Yavin SOS, so if they release on the 17th they would be event legal (11 days I believe?) for those two.
It might be a case of making them non event legal a la Veterans at the Yavin Open last year.

So, didn't realize this until it was pointed out myself. But, regionals are not premier level events so product is legal day after release.
