This feels a little too good the way I'm reading it, so I wanted to run it past the rules gurus to see what the verdict was....
So, Shara Bey:
"When another friendly ship at range 1-2 is attacking it may treat your blue target lock tokens as its own"
R5-K6:
"After spending your target lock, roll 1 defense die. On an evade result immediately acquire a target lock on the same ship. You cannot spend this target lock during this attack."
Weapons Engineer:
You can maintain target locks on two enemy ships, & when you acquire a target lock you can lock onto two different ships.
Those are the involved cards, the question is:
Will another friendly ship trigger R5-K6 when it spends Shara's target lock? And will it (assuming the roll succeeds) allow Shara to reacquire on the same ship.
I guess weapons engineer is superfluous to the question, because that is the one part of this that I know will work properly.
If those interactions work as I think they might... Well it's dice-dependent, but that's potentially an awful lot of target locks.
(I realise that I didn't specify this above, but it's probably implied: Both R5-K6 and weapons engineer would be equipped on Shara.)
