CC Rieekan & retreat

Retreating ships are removed at the start of the status phase of the round they retreated.

They are destroyed, but don't get scarred

Caveats: r 4 or 5 only, must discard dial

Rieekan zombies die at the end of the same phase.

I sort of assumed it was meaningless for zombies to retreat, since they'd escape, but still suffer zombie death (and thus get scarred).

But apparently it's not as clear cut as that.

So let's assume reteating zombies don't get scarred.

What's to stop me (except I'm Imp) from making a CR90B ET spam and abusing the hell out of this?

If I time it well, I can retreat most of my casualties during r 4&5, thus saving me from scarring.

Rinse and repeat.

Is this intentional? Is it on the same page as Tagge?

I dunno.
