4-player dwarf decks?

By GrandSpleen, in Strategy and deck-building

Has anyone run a 4-player table with all Dwarf decks? Wondering what the best way to do this would be. I have some friends who would like to play through some Moria quests with me, they are not LotR players themselves so I thought I would give them 1) a thematic experience, 2) a good shot at winning, and 3) decks that are easy to play. Dwarves fit the bill very nicely.

I could try 4 mono-sphere decks, as we have enough dwarf heroes to do that at this point. I only have cardpool, so that would minimize any problems I might run into if I do, for example, a tactics/lore and a leadership/lore deck (both decks will want Daeron's Runes, Legacy of Durin, etc).

Anyone tried this?

We played through Ruins of Belegost with 3 Dwarf decks, if I recall. The trick was selecting heroes that didn't stomp all over the ally selection, since a lot of the good allies and heroes are unique.

We ended up using hero Gandalf in one of the decks to help mitigate this somewhat.

Thanks guys. Seastan, I see that fellowship was only just published, did you put that together just for me? If so, thanks!

No, I built it back in March '16. But you did inspire me to publish it :D .
