It seems to me by the wording on the illicit cloak card that after rolling an eyeball if you choose "discard your cloak token" that you stay cloaked. Why wouldn't you be able to stay cloaked for the rest of the game? I know you can't shoot, but what if you just want to keep Palob Godalhi around as long as possible stealing tokens.

If you've discarded your cloak token; you've decloaked. The difference is you've done it on the spot, rather than moving forward or to the side using the '2' template.

When you lose the Illicit Cloaking Device you're options are to Decloak now using the standard decloak based maneuver or just give up the cloak where you sit. Without the token there is no way for you to be "cloaked" as there is nothing indicating that state.
