am i missing something on this card, usually Red Objective cards play to both players advantage some how but this card only benefits player 2 ??

Its just been happenstance that Red objectives have played to both...
Because the design intent of objectives is to, over all, give Player 2 an advantage
Sometimes that's a straight advantage. Sometimes that's a greater advantage to 2, compared to player 1...
But Objectives are the Advantage offset to Player 1 and the initiative system .
Its just been coincidence that Reds have favoured both (and 2 to the greater).
ok cool. i was worried FFG goofed and instead of saying on the card..
the attacker may reroll up to 2 attack dice in the attack pool.
they meant to say or imply that both the attacker and defender get to reroll or someting , not sure why they say "attacker" and not just say "player 2" kinda of made me do a double take when i see "attacker" , thx dras just looking for others take.

No worries.
It is indeed an odd card, by virtue of the fact it only favours Player 2 in the use of the tokens, BUT
... Player one gets to place half of those objectives basically anywhere on the table .... Negating some of that advantage.
Edited by DrasnightaSeems like there's some potential to mitigate that with Strategic. That's the only possible explanation I can come up with for what seems like two wasted tokens in this objective.
But, I haven't gotten to play it yet, so maybe I'm wrong. It happens.

Definitely.. But unfortunately, all the Strategic only works if you really chain the Strategic across, because the Distances involved are actually quite monstrous if your opponent decides to basically hit the corners of your deployment zone with them.
While that's true, today I got a lesson in just how quickly that can happen. I was running my silly Mon Mothma MC30's, and I use Hyperspace Assault in that list. Two Lambdas shuffled a Hyperspace token 1/3 of the way across the board* for me on turn 1.
*exaggeration, but not by much...
Yeah I got To use it few days ago my opponent just placed them right near each other in a corner for his 2

Would be amusing if someone was to start using FCT VCX's wouldnt it......
Now I cant think who would be doing that...
Couldnt possibly be me...
I am
I'm just not telling people I am in advance.
I played this objective last night, and it seems pretty broken. As a first player, I was able to put two objective tokens one on top of the other in a corner of the setup area. I highly doubt Strategic can help with those, but perhaps Strategic helps with the center ones more.
Because it was only distance 2 from 2 tokens, I was easily able to avoid it triggering. Seems like a waste of a perfectly good objective. Why did they drop all the placement restrictions of the other similar cards?

Or why not simply let the 2nd player place all 4 tokens?
