I recently got the Tantive IV.

The socket on the bottom of the ship is not glued properly but with inclination. That makes the peg and base stand off diagonally. As a result the socket started cracking.

Does anybody know how to remove the socket in a save way so that I can remount it properly?

Problem is I live in South-East Asia and I get my X-wing miniatures while traveling abroad. Therefore sending it back to the shop for replacement is not an option.

Also does anybody know how to remove glue stains on the miniatures due to sloppy work?

Also both of the lower cannons of the top quad laser turret of my heroes of the resistance falcon were mangled......darn

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try to get a grip on the socket and yank it out like a tooth and then scrap the glue away and redo it is my only advice. Or if you can, take it back where you bought it and get a refund.

Thank you. Currently I'm still worried doing that. May be it comes off just by itself as happened with my raider
