Hi all,

We're currently planning Psychocon 2009 and plan to support FFG board games and UFS, can anyone let me know whether there are any suitable venues for a convention in the North of England?

Also, what kind of UFS/board game tournaments would you travel to and in what areas?

We're looking for a cheap venue to keep costs low and and attract more players. We're currently looking at Leeds but are open to suggestions.

I've posted this here to get a general idea of what kind of extra convention people would want in the North of England (the South is full of 'em already) .

not sure if you've thought of this yet but how about the octagon centre in sheffield? it's easy to get to and there's plenty of space, it works well for triples so could be a decent venue.
