I was thinking of bringing this same list to my regionals in a couple of weeks. I cant decide if there being 2 of it in the top 4 makes me want to more or less...

One of the most boring and skill-less games i've ever seen: joust, pew pew, 4k, and repeat

The final match instead was very interesting, congrats to the winner!

I'll be honest, I don't fully see how Swarm Leader triple defenders work. I mean, on paper, they're obviously nuts because you just plow through whatever is in front of you, but that's pretty much what triple Defenders already do. You're doubling down on your strength, which is already the best. Swarm Leader will only work if you've got a target that already has a couple of Defenders pointed at it, and that's already a winning scenario. I suppose it helps to Crack hard defenses, but triple Crack Shots does that pretty well also, and doesn't eat evade tokens on valuable ships.

Maybe I'm underestimating it's utility. I think it's a great card, but this is a weird use of it, to me.

Wow, the Defender mirror must have been the most pathetic competitive-play match I've seen to date. Topped with this silent agreement to conveniently move obstacles out of the way and just give up the game to all-dice-no-skill.

I'm happy for the gentleman called Marys, for pulling a flawless victory against such powergaming list with his graceful Corran+Miranda dance. Kinda shame his talents are serving the wrong cause here, as the Defender-goers can go back to moaning how their stuff is not yet OP enough, because it can't auto-win them a match with a good opponent using an aged list. Same goes for Jack Mooney and his round 4 win against identical triple Defenders' list with old Han and Jake. Barely pulled that one off, but man, did it bring smile to my face...

Oh my, the Defender mirror match in the top 4 was indeed a total shocker to watch.

The final was terrific though, the flying of the Miranda - Corran player was fantastic to watch. Ion bombs, wow.
