Anyone else sick of lifeboat flotillas?

Can we just go back to the part where it's a tactic here in a game that's supposed to be about strategy and is a strategy that would likely get your admiral killed, irl or are we still pretending he'd be riding around in a semi truck in the midst of a tank battle?

That's still an emotional semantic argument that holds no merit in the rules of the game. And it's been beaten to death. Wait 4 weeks and repost the topic to get the best arguments. Rinse and repeat on all inflammatory concepts.

It's a tactic that can and does get admirals killed in the game, too.

Case in point.

I reiterate my position: the more people start building responses to this into their lists and then actually applying them in-game, the less you'll see it happen. So, if you don't want to see it anymore, take an ExL/Sensor Team Raider, an H9 MC30, a CR90B, or a few punchy rogues. Then, if you see somebody doing this, commit those resources to quickly punish them for doing it.

God forbid they're first player, they'll never be in arc!

Anyone who gets their flotilla run down by a raider is either really bad or being out activated 2-1. It should take you six turns just to get the thing in range!

I really hope you are going with this "Raider trigger word" because you find it funny, not because you seriously think the Raider is bad. I agree the Raider is not the best ship, but you take this to a whole new level.

And it amuses me greatly.

I think with the way you can upgrade that flotilla it's really more like riding around a tank battle in Optimus Prime than in a standard Freightliner. And hell yes I would ride in Optimus Prime.

Of course you'd use your enemies as a suit of armor, Megatonrex.

Peace through tyranny baby.

What does Altos mean? In my language means "tall".
