Walker steps on soldier

So...how would you handle a pilot of an AT-ST (a Rebel who has commandeered it) stomping on a person?

The obvious answer is SQUISH...but what does the pilot roll to make this attack?

Piloting (Planetary) as a substitute for Brawl.

ok, did that right then.

Alternate solution:

Use Ramming (Stay on Target pg 65) which requires a piloting check similar to Gain the Advantage, and resolve damage with Collisions (AoR Core page 256) which inflicts crits on both parties.

Difficulty would be modified by terrain ect, and if the targets were dismounted (essentially speed 0) or otherwise moving at vehicle speeds (jetpacks).

Minions are "removed from play" by a crit, so "squish" would be pretty straight forward, plus since no actual damage would be inflicted you wouldn't have to worry about super-squishing a large group of minions, just one at a time. Rivals and Nemesis would also hurt from the collision, but you wouldn't auto-squish them... so also good there. Explaining why the vehicle takes a crit is also pretty easy. 1) Assume the target's arent just standing in the open, so the vehicle will collide with mailboxes, tree stumps, rocks and so forth as well while trying to run down a person, and 2) You ever hit a deer? Yeah... it's not good for the vehicle.

If you feel that the squish needs to be extra squishy use the +50 to crits option (AoR Core pg 236) to make that bumper really hurt.
