So if a couple of B-Wing with FCS are flying with Bodhi, then when FCS kicks in they can literally target lock ANY enemy ship within range 1-3 of a friendly ship, right?
Is that useful or would Cassian's ability be better?

FCS kinda narrows down your options a bit
i.e "on the defender" specifically
which makes Bodhi absolutely pointless
but honestly, his ability is absolutely pointless more often than not. It's really difficult to find a beneficial situation in which someone has ****** off but another one of your ships is still in firing distance
Cassian is neato, though
Edited by ficklegreendiceThanks for the great clarification!
Think I'll run this and put Rex in the back:
Blue Squadron Pilot (24) x 2 B-Wing (22), Fire-Control System (2)
Cassian Andor (35) U-Wing (27), Rage (1), Advanced Sensors (3), Inspiring Recruit (1), Kanan Jarrus (3), Pivot Wing (0)
Captain Rex (17) Sabine's TIE Fighter (14), Stealth Device (3)
I knows you don't like AS, FGD, but I do....
eh...Rage is kinda clunky imo
much rather have FCS + expertise (or Rey crew) providing basically the same benefit minus the dial constraints
if Cassian's pilot ability worked on himself (goddamnit FFG!) we'd have more room to play with stuff like Rage
Edited by ficklegreendiceA) FCS + Expertise = 6 points
B) AS + Rage + Kanan = 7 points
I like B better because it's bump-proof and Kanan be used to help other ships too. Rage is basically a target lock anyways.
Bah!
Ok, ok, ok.
What is better:
Blue Squadron Pilot (24) x 2 B-Wing (22), Fire-Control System (2)
Cassian Andor (35) U-Wing (27), Rage (1), Advanced Sensors (3), Inspiring Recruit (1), Kanan Jarrus (3), Pivot Wing (0)
Captain Rex (17) Sabine's TIE Fighter (14), Stealth Device (3)
OR

Actually, Bodhi could have some use if you were trying to make some kind of a mid/low PS ordnance build...
Just make sure your build includes a really cheap spotter/blocker (maybe a Z, maybe a prototype pilot, maybe a captured TIE). Fly that thing up into the face of your enemies, and all the other ships in your squad can get tl's for firing torps despite the fact that opposing ships at higher PS haven't moved into tl range yet.
Not necessarily advocating the rebel torpedo strike as a valid strategy, but if you do go that way, bodhi does seem like a solid choice.
Either that or use bodhi to enable M9-G8 shenanigans....
I'm trying to think of other uses for bodhi, but I'm struggling here... Shara Bey with weapons engineer maybe...
I'm gonna quit before I suggest something really dumb.
Bah!
Ok, ok, ok.

Rex is going to pop in one shot, so the less on him the better
and by less, I mean "don't take any upgrades on him"
almost positive that any investment on anyone else would be more worth it
I'll run Sexy Rexy naked and put a Tactical Jammer on Cass then.
OR
Should I kick Rexy to the curb and turn those B-Wings into Buzzsaws?

Well Cassian is just a stress mop. Since there is quite a few upgrades that make stress not as big of a problem as it used to be and black market slicer tools is not in the meta Cassian is not going to be breaking any ground (just like the movie
). Bohdi Rooks wording is kind of funny but I think it just removes the need for long range sensors instead. It sort of acts like a reverse Jendon w/title.

only if you dont build your squad with any self stress
i.e, PTL/experimental/r3-a2/red maneuvers in general
to think of him as a reactive piece is just wrong
