Purchasing old product (Mainly deluxe expansions)

By Eggzavier, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Hello all ~

Getting into Imperial Assault, and the completionist in me is diving in head first to get at least one of everything (I have disposable income, don't worry everyone, I'm not really looking to save money.)

A little snag I've run into though is it appears that most retailers seem to not have any of the older expansions in stock, either the FLGS in the area or online retailers like MM or Amazon.

I've seen that some have it, but are selling for what appear to be highly inflated prices.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any potential avenues i'm missing - thanks!

FFG does keep all products in production until they are completely discontinued - that is, at some point there will be a reprint of anything you can't currently get. So simply waiting will eventually see stuff come back into stock.

Having said that, it doesn't look like the big box expansions are on FFG's list of upcoming products at all, not sure what that means - possibly that they won't be reprinted for a while. Unfortunately your options may just be to keep looking, as I'm sure someone will have it in stock.

Where are you? It might help people give you some options depending on what country you are in.

You could just ask your FLGS to order them for you.

I don't think there are any reprints in the queue, except Boba Fett, who should arrive inside a month or so. So, FFG should have stock of the others.

(Ok, IG-88 stock might also be running low, the other local store doesn't have any left. But look around and only buy with sensible prices.)

While not exactly "local", I know the game store in downtown Bloomington IL had all the box expansions when I was in there last week. Road trip?
