Well said. reegsk. Ive played Warhammer 40k for 15 years and attended many event in my time. This was the very first tournament that i have ever encountered where the Tournament Organizer refused to work with the player base. I agree with many points that have been made here in the no pay no play but also there needs to be some consideration for extenuating circumstances and some common sense and understanding needs to be applied and acceptance of short comings with information. I have ran many evens in my gaming career as well and will continue to do so as I believe everybody needs to take and turn so that we can all play the game we love. Its a real shame that it would appear that Dras here has been dragged into this on both sides when he was never even involved and it has spiraled into a divide among the local gaming community through the actions of an organizer that has zero compassion for the player base or the game.

The way it has been presented to the players that got the boot in this particular scenario was that:

I am the boss and I don't care what you think. I'm right and your wrong. regardless of the circumstances.

Its a real shame that this Organizer for this event will never learn these lessons of wisdom you have mentioned. My only hope is that Draz takes over as he appears to care about the Armada gaming community. I have been informed from several of the player that were cut were through their own fault for non compliance but there are extenuating circumstances here on both sides of this argument and can go on and on forever.

Compassion and leeway is what most gaming communities is based on and a lot of people loose sight of that. Am I butt hurt I got screwed out of this event?? absolutely i am but thats life. I will very likely never attend another event run by this organizer due to his extremely poor management and implementation of this particular event. Normally I wouldn't care because there is always another tournament but this was a regionals event that only happens once a year. I could keep going on and on but nothing will ever change this fact about how I feel and I will end this here.
